Nick Vanderhoven, Founder of UpSnatch.com, will be speaking at Domain Summit Asia 2026 in Bangkok! ๐ง๐ช๐น๐ญ
Nick joined us in Hong Kong last year and attended Domain Summit Europe in Kempten this August. We're pleased to have him back, this time as a featured speaker.
His discussion panel:
"The AI-Powered Domain Investor - Finding, Valuing, Acquiring and Selling Domains in the Age of LLMs."
Nick is building UpSnatch, a platform for discovering expired and aftermarket domains, researching their SEO metrics and history, and monitoring acquisition opportunities.
One particularly interesting development is UpSnatch's API and MCP integration, which allows AI agents to access its domain search data.
That raises some questions for domain investors.
Can AI find promising domains that traditional searches miss?
How useful are LLMs for analysing domain data?
Can agents monitor auctions and identify opportunities without spending hours manually searching?
And how do we make sure investors are making decisions based on reliable information rather than AI-generated guesses?
Nick is working directly on domain discovery technology, so his experience should be useful for this discussion.

A friend of mine and many you, Andriy Khvetkevych is coming to Domain Summit Asia 2026 ๐บ๐ฆ๐น๐ญ
Andriy is the Co-Founder of NIC.UA and CEO of NicNames.com.
He joined us at Domain Summit Europe in Kempten this August, and I'm pleased that we will meet again in Bangkok!
Andriy has spent more than 20 years building businesses in the domain industry.
NIC.UA, founded in 2007, became one of Ukraine's largest domain registrars. With NicNames, he is now expanding internationally from the United States.
He is also working on some interesting ideas around AI, domain discovery, tokenization and digital ownership.
One question he raised recently is worth thinking about:
Will people still choose their own domain names in a few years, or will AI agents increasingly make those decisions for them?
There is plenty to discuss, especially with the new ICANN gTLD round underway.
Looking forward to catching up in Bangkok, Andriy!

Mark Ghoriafi, better known in the domain industry as "Mr. Premium", will be speaking at Domain Summit Asia 2026 in Bangkok! ๐น๐ญ
Mark is a Senior Premium Domain Broker at Sedo, with years of experience in high-value domain sales, outbound brokerage and acquisitions.
He has handled tens of millions of dollars in domain transactions, including some impressive recent sales:
Midnight.com โ $1,150,000
C4.com โ $265,000
Double.com โ $980,000
Pack.com โ $600,000
Mark has also been part of our previous Domain Summit events in London, so it is good to have him joining us in Asia.
Our founder, Helmuts, is particularly pleased about this announcement. Mark is a friend of his, and they will have another opportunity to catch up in Bangkok.
Mark will join the discussion panel:
"The AI-Powered Domain Investor - Finding, Valuing, Acquiring and Selling Domains in the Age of LLMs."
AI tools can already help investors research domain names, analyse comparable sales, identify potential buyers and prepare outreach.
But how reliable are AI-generated valuations?
Can LLMs actually help identify buyers who are willing and able to pay?
How useful are AI agents when negotiating or acquiring domains?
And when it comes to closing a six- or seven-figure deal, how much still depends on trust, patience and personal relationships?
Mark works with buyers and sellers every day, so his perspective on these questions will be particularly interesting.
We are looking forward to welcoming him to Bangkok and hearing his views on how AI may change the practical business of domain investing and brokerage.

Michael Bereslavsky, Founder of Exiting.com, will be speaking at Domain Summit Asia 2026 in Bangkok! ๐น๐ญ
This will be Michael's first Domain Summit, and I'm very pleased to welcome him.
Michael has been buying, developing and selling online businesses since 2004. He previously founded Domain Magnate and now runs Exiting.com, which helps owners prepare, value and sell their online businesses.
Over the years, he has acquired more than 200 businesses, sold over 100 and advised on many more transactions.
What makes Michael's experience interesting for our domain industry is the connection between owning a domain name and building something valuable on it.
We spend a lot of time discussing domain acquisitions, valuations and aftermarket sales.
But what happens when you take a good domain and turn it into a profitable business?
How much more might a buyer pay for a business with established revenue, customers and systems?
When does it make sense to develop a domain rather than sell it?
And what actually makes an online business attractive to buyers?
Michael has worked with SaaS businesses, content websites, e-commerce companies and other digital businesses, so I'm interested in hearing how he evaluates opportunities and what he has learned from deals that went well โ and those that didn't.
There's also an interesting story behind the name Exiting.com itself, which Michael acquired as a premium domain for his business.
I'm looking forward to meeting Michael at our first Domain Summit together and hearing his views on the business side of digital assets.

Ankur Raheja, Founder of Cylaw Solutions, will be speaking at Domain Summit Asia 2026 in Bangkok ๐ฎ๐ณ๐น๐ญ
Ankur has been working in domain name law for more than 20 years, specialising in UDRP disputes, trademark-related domain cases and the rights of domain name owners.
If you follow UDRP decisions, you may already know his name.
This year alone, Ankur has represented domain owners in several interesting cases, including AXA.org, SNGLR.com and Semify.ai.
In the SNGLR.com dispute, the complainant had actually participated in the auction for the domain, lost to another bidder and then filed a UDRP complaint. The WIPO panel ruled in favour of the domain owner and found reverse domain name hijacking.
Cases like this raise questions that I think we should discuss more often at domain industry events.
When is a domain name a legitimate investment, and when does a registration cross the line into trademark infringement?
What should investors check before buying a domain?
How important are registration dates, previous ownership, intended use and trademark rights?
What can domain owners do when they receive a UDRP complaint?
And are the existing dispute-resolution procedures working fairly for both trademark owners and domain investors?
Ankur also helps maintain RDNH.com, which documents cases involving reverse domain name hijacking.
I'm pleased that he will bring his experience to our discussions in Bangkok. I think there will be quite a few domain investors interested in hearing what he has to say.

Yatin Shah, Vice President โ CloudTech at Vertoz, will be speaking at Domain Summit Asia 2026 in Bangkok ๐ฎ๐ณ๐น๐ญ
I met Yatin at our Domain Summit Asia in Hong Kong last year, and I'm very pleased that he will be joining us again, this time as a featured speaker.
Yatin is also Business Head at ConnectReseller, part of the Vertoz Group, where his work brings together domain registration, reseller partnerships, hosting and cloud services.
ConnectReseller has built a substantial international reseller network. In 2024, Vertoz reported more than 13,000 resellers and over 2 million domains under management.
There are several things I would like to discuss with Yatin in Bangkok.
How do you build and maintain a successful international domain reseller network?
What do hosting companies and domain resellers actually need from their registrar?
How important are APIs, WHMCS integrations and automation in helping smaller businesses compete?
What opportunities does Yatin see in India and the wider Asian market?
And how are customer expectations changing as domains, hosting, email and security services become increasingly connected?
Yatin works directly with these businesses and partnerships, so it will be interesting to hear his experience from the registrar and reseller side.
It was good meeting you in Hong Kong, Yatin. Looking forward to seeing you in Bangkok!

Artur Suvanov, Founder & CEO of aHOST.uz, will be speaking at Domain Summit Asia 2026 ๐บ๐ฟ๐น๐ญ
I first met Artur earlier this year at Domain Summit Africa in Nairobi.
We stayed in touch after the event, talked a lot about domains, hosting and infrastructure โ and since then weโve become friends.
So I am very happy that he is joining us in Bangkok.
Artur will take part in our panel:
โFrom Control Panels to Autonomous Operations โ AI and Agents Inside the Domain Registrar Backendโ
There is a very practical reason why Artur is on this panel.
aHOST is the largest domain registrar in Uzbekistan, managing more than 70,000 .uz domains and serving over 43,000 subscribers.
Through SUVAN NET LLC, it is also the first and only ICANN-accredited registrar based in Uzbekistan.
Their main hosting and domain business still runs on WHMCS, but the team has also built its own hosting, domain-registration and billing platform and is now actively testing it.
That puts Artur in an interesting position.
He knows the traditional hosting and registrar control-panel model very well, but his team is already working on what comes next.
How much of a registrar backend should still revolve around dashboards and manual workflows?
Where can AI agents help with registrations, renewals, provisioning, registry APIs, billing, monitoring and support?
Which tasks can safely become autonomous?
And where should a human still approve the action?
That is the discussion I want us to have in Bangkok โ based on systems people are actually building, not just predictions about AI.
There is another interesting development as well.
SUVAN NET LLC has applied for the new .cas gTLD in the 2026 ICANN round.
So Artur may soon be looking at this infrastructure from both sides: registrar and registry.
Quite a lot for us to discuss :)

Michael Riedl, CEO of Team Internet, will be speaking at Domain Summit Asia 2026 ๐น๐ญ
And we are putting him straight into one of the discussions I am most looking forward to:
โThe 2026 New gTLD Round: What Asia and the World Applied For - and What Happens Next.โ
For years we talked about the next ICANN round as something coming in the future.
Now the applications are in.
Around 1,600 applications.
New .brands.
New generic extensions.
Geographic names.
Contested strings.
Different ideas from Asia, Europe, North America and the rest of the world.
So now the interesting part begins.
What did companies actually apply for?
Where are the strongest areas of competition?
What surprised us?
What does Asia look like compared with the rest of the world?
Which applications are likely to become commercially successful registries?
What happens when several applicants want the same string?
And how will this round change the domain industry over the next decade?
Michael has been involved with domains since the 1990s and today leads Team Internet - a business operating across registries, registrars, domain infrastructure, monetisation and digital advertising.
That gives him a rather broad view of what is happening on both sides of this new round.
I expect this panel to move quickly :)

Paulo Wu from Dynadot will be speaking at Domain Summit Asia 2026 ๐น๐ญ
His work sits right in the middle of one of the most interesting parts of the domain market: expired auctions, real bidding behaviour and what investors are actually buying.
Paulo regularly follows Dynadotโs auction activity and looks at the names attracting bids, the prices being paid and the reasons behind them.
That gives us a much better starting point than another discussion about theoretical valuations :)
I want to talk about the real market.
Which domains are actually liquid today?
What are Asian buyers looking for?
How important are short names, numeric domains and IDNs?
What can expired-domain auctions tell us about demand?
How different is the Chinese and wider Asian market from what we usually hear discussed in Europe and the US?
And perhaps most importantly โ what are buyers actually willing to pay?
There should be plenty for the domain investors in the room to discuss with Paulo.

I am very pleased to announce Helen Ho, CEO of NiceNIC, as one of our featured speakers in Bangkok๐น๐ญ
There is a reason I particularly wanted a strong registrar voice in the room.
We talk a lot in the domain industry about registries, investors, new TLDs and aftermarket sales.
But the registrar is where much of this industry actually meets the customer.
And that part of the business is changing quickly.
NiceNIC is an ICANN-accredited registrar with a large international domain and reseller business, covering more than 2,500 extensions.
They are also investing heavily into APIs, automation and tools that allow hosting companies, resellers, developers and platforms to build domain registration and management directly into their own systems.
That opens up some interesting questions for Bangkok.
What does a registrar need to look like in 2027?
How important will traditional registrar websites remain when domains can increasingly be registered and managed through APIs, software and AI agents?
What do domain resellers actually need today?
How different are customers and distribution channels across Asia?
And where is the registrar business heading as domains become another piece of programmable Internet infrastructure?
These are conversations I am very interested in having.
Helen leads NiceNIC's global operations and international partnerships, so we should have plenty to ask her :)

Very happy to announce Lars Jensen, Founder & CEO of ShortDot, as a featured speaker at Domain Summit Asia 2026 in Bangkok ๐น๐ญ
ShortDot has just taken a very big step.
For the first time, the company has entered an ICANN new gTLD application round = submitting 40 applications covering 80 proposed strings.
That gives us quite a few things to talk about in Bangkok :)
Which new extensions make sense?
What makes a new TLD commercially viable?
How do you build registrar distribution?
What have registry operators learned from the previous generation of new gTLDs?
And perhaps most importantly โ what does the next round mean for registrars, domain investors, brands and the wider domain industry?
Lars has been building ShortDot since 2017, and today the company operates extensions including .icu, .bond, .cyou, .cfd and .sbs.
ShortDot is also one of our partners for Domain Summit Asia, so I am particularly happy that Lars will be joining us again.
There should be plenty to discuss.

European ccTLDs
Almost every truck I saw on the Autobahn had a domain name on the side: .de, .it, .nl, .cz, .at, etc.
For every 10 trucks, only 1 had a .com. The adoption of local ccTLDs across Europe is remarkable.
African companies should take note & embrace their local ccTLDs

Louise Wong is joining us again at Domain Summit Asia!
Louise was with us in Hong Kong last year, and this December she will be coming to Bangkok as one of our featured speakers.
She is Special Counsel at the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC), leading its domain name dispute resolution work, and Secretary-General of the Asian Domain Name Dispute Resolution Centre (ADNDRC).
Domains are not only about buying, selling and building.
Sometimes the really difficult questions begin when two parties believe they have rights to the same name.
UDRP. Trademarks. Legitimate interests. Bad faith. Domain investor rights.
This is a part of the domain industry we absolutely need to talk about.
Very happy to have Louise back with us.
