Frankie Goes to Hollywood's "Relax" into Young MC's "Bust a Move." Just a little 80s nostalgia on 45s.

How and why did we never get an album from Tammy Lucas?

If you're seriously considering becoming a DJ, I encourage you to go for it. But PLEASE do it for the right reasons. Do it because you LOVE music. Do it because you respect the craft, the culture, and the art of moving people through music.

Don't do it because you think it's a get rich quick scheme, a shortcut to fame, or an opportunity to chase clout and social media validation. The culture needs more people who genuinely love the music, not more people who just want to be seen and validated.

For much of this year, DJing felt like an uphill battle. Things just weren't clicking. But something shifted these past few months. I let go of A LOT of things that were draining my energy, made room for myself, and rediscovered the joy in what I do.

These past couple of week/ends have been incredible. I'm prioritizing FUN and I want to keep this energy going.

It's dope that @pachincomusic & I created these edits and they are now out in the wild on 45. Nothing feels greater than dropping the needle on something you created yourself. We may just have a few more copies left at Thebooyahstore.com
