Our mission is to promote greater understanding of UAP (Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena) by advocating for government transparency & scientific research.

🧵 We have released a new policy brief: Policy Brief No. 7 - All Government-Funded UAP Records Belong in the UAP Records Collection at the National Archives. The policy brief is authored by Christopher Mellon (@ChrisKMellon), Jordan Flowers (@jordanflowers) and Hunt Willis. The new policy brief argues that the FY 2024 NDAA requires the National Archives’ UAP Records Collection to include not only agency records, but also government-provided and government-funded records, including those held by federally funded research and development centers (FFRDCs). disclosure.org/research/all-…

1/5 Missing UAP Program Records: Located, but Still Not Released? In this final post from a recently recorded interview with Dr. Phil (@DrPhil), Rep. Eric Burlison (@RepEricBurlison) raised serious concerns about missing records associated with the Pentagon's AATIP investigation, including work involving Jay Stratton (@jaystratton) and Lue Elizondo (@LueElizondo). Burlison questioned how records from an investigation conducted as recently as the 2010s could apparently be missing or deleted, calling for more aggressive efforts to locate them and ensure government accountability. Burlison stated: "Sadly, our government is still blocking the President from getting access to the information [on UAP], and the perfect evidence of that is that we can't find the missing AATIP documents." Since the interview was recorded, two important developments have emerged: 1. October 6: Investigative journalist George Knapp (@g_knapp) reported that the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) had apparently located the missing AAWSAP files. 2. October 13: Knapp clarified that the underlying DIA documents had not been publicly released. He explained that James Lacatski's books condensed approximately 70,000 pages of field notes into 1,250 pages of core information, with the most sensitive material redacted.

Andrew, you are correct. While the actual DIA docs have not been released, Lacatski's books accurately describe and contextualize the contents. He reduced 70,000 pages of field notes down to 1250 pages of core info, while redacting the most sensitive stuff.

In Jay Stratton's (@jaystratton) recently released memoire titled "Out of the Shadows," Stratton states: "There is a lot of evidence of UAP in NASA’s archives that has never seen the light of day. And while I can’t provide the specific examples I am aware of, I can say this with certainty: The evidence NASA has matches what our military aircrew have been seeing and reporting for years. The data exists. Stratton goes on to mention that he worked with Mike Gold previously during Gold's tenure as Robert Bigelow's attorney during the AAWSAP days. As we have announced previously, former NASA administrator Mike Gold is also a Disclosure Foundation Advisory Board member and is currently leading the effort to conduct a Foundation-led detailed review of NASA archival material to identify Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) information/data within it.

“The President is the ultimate declassification authority.” Speaking with Dr. Phil (@DrPhil), Disclosure Foundation Executive Director Jordan Flowers (@jordanflowers) emphasized the president's broad authority to declassify information and outlined three actions to advance UAP transparency: 1. Expand NDA waivers across the intelligence community, defense contractors, and federally funded research and development centers (FFRDCs). 2. Produce a National Intelligence Estimate (NIE) on UAPs, requiring interagency coordination and a formal intelligence assessment of the phenomenon. 3. Establish a whistleblower restitution fund to address retaliation, lost security clearances, loss of income, and threats to personal safety. As Flowers explained, whistleblowers may face severe professional and financial consequences even when they can make protected disclosures without criminal prosecution. Declassification authority exists. The question is how it will be exercised, and whether those who come forward will be adequately protected.

Are UAP secrets being withheld from incoming presidential administrations? In this second clip from a new episode of the Dr. Phil Podcast (@DrPhil), Rep. Eric Burlison (@RepEricBurlison) raised concerns that sensitive UAP information may not have been passed from one administration to the next. Burlison suggested the following: • Information may have been deliberately withheld during presidential transitions. • Critical knowledge may reside within mid-level government programs rather than with elected leadership. • Federally Funded Research and Development Centers (FFRDCs) and defense contractors may possess fragmented pieces of sensitive programs. • Contractors could be working with materials without knowing their original source. Burlison argued that someone within this network may still possess critical knowledge and that Congress must use its oversight and subpoena powers to obtain answers.

50 or more UAP orbs reportedly observed during a suspected luring operation at a Western U.S. military installation, possibly White Sands, New Mexico. In a new episode of the Dr. Phil Podcast (@DrPhil), Rep. Eric Burlison (@RepEricBurlison) and Disclosure Foundation Executive Director Jordan Flowers (@jordanflowers) discussed the reported late-2025 operation. Among the reported observations: • Orbs approaching within 10 feet of a helicopter • Objects splitting apart and recombining • Intelligent-looking formations and responsive maneuvering • Silent hovering without visible conventional propulsion • Sudden, extraordinary acceleration • Reddish-orange glows with bright white centers • Possible pulsating light • Observations involving optical and infrared sensors Photographs associated with the reported operation were included in the government's PURSUE releases. The accompanying records also reference video footage that has yet to be made publicly available. Rep. Burlison confirmed that requests have been made for video, radar, and other sensor recordings. What attracted these objects, and what might the unreleased footage reveal? The public deserves to see the evidence.

1/3 Could UAP disclosure become a new geopolitical race between the United States, China, and Russia? In Jay Stratton's (@jaystratton) recent interview with Bret Baier (@BretBaier ) on Fox News, the following exchange occurs near the end: Bret Baier: “If an adversary cracks this technology before we do, what happens? Do you think China is trying?” Jay Stratton: “I do. I think China and Russia are both working on reverse engineering craft of nonhuman origin.”

2/3 Stratton's statement ties directly into a new article from @TheInsiderPaper where Disclosure Foundation Executive Director Jordan Flowers (@jordanflowers) is quoted as previously suggesting that "China and Russia may have recovered unidentified objects and attempted to reverse-engineer them." In addition, the article states that "Flowers argued that the possibility of foreign governments studying such technology raised serious national security questions." As concerns grow over a potential geopolitical race involving UAP technology and disclosure, these questions underscore the importance of greater transparency, rigorous investigation, and sustained congressional oversight. The implications extend beyond disclosure itself to national security, technological competition, and America's role in leading a responsible global conversation on UAP. insiderpaper.com/ufo-russia-…

A poignant reminder, especially on the UAP front: No person has ever been prosecuted or sued for providing classified information to any Member or committee of Congress. Concerns around disciplinary action, clearance, and livelihood are warranted, but the stakes around prosecution and NDAs or lawsuits are different from the public narrative.

Recently shared by the Yale Student UFO Society, this clip features Disclosure Foundation Executive Director Jordan Flowers (@jordanflowers) and former congressional staffer and current Disclosure Foundation Advisory Board member Kirk McConnell discussing UAP whistleblower protections, the limits of congressional oversight, and unexplained drone incursions over sensitive military installations. The discussion is excerpted from a longer Disclosure Foundation conversation originally published four months ago. We thank the Yale Student UFO Society for highlighting these important issues and continuing to be part of this effort. youtu.be/Q8E9vLxmFt8?si=E23c…
