In the older days, the verifiable, publicly visible respect shared between the ruling power and enlightened sages and teachers served as an unwritten constitution.
With modern connected tech, this can easily be written and enforced. All we need to do is shift politics from forcing power onto its citizens to facilitating their ability to discuss, debate, discover, and innovate—in other words, restoring the teaching class of society.
He got it completely wrong.
CJP’s Instagram rise clearly proves the space it got in people’s hearts and minds.
It is time to show it on streets and public spaces to make the govt accountable.

For you they are not just youth rather they are masters who taught you how to fight with a dictator instead of dealing with him for decades.
Like a spoiled child you’re not learning your lessons.
Waving the Tricolour at Jantar Mantar in a peaceful protest is not a crime. Jailing youth for it is an act of cowardice.
Students. Youth. Journalists. The INDIA bloc. Different banners, one cause. All protests are one: citizens demanding their constitutional rights.
Jantar Mantar belongs to the people of India. We will reclaim it.

When CJP was granted permission to protest, many were quick to float conspiracy theories that we were planted by the BJP.
Yesterday, the INDIA bloc held a massive protest, but there was no crackdown like the one we witnessed on October 10.
This is exactly how the govt plays us against each other. By treating different protests differently, they create suspicion and mistrust among people who are ultimately fighting for the same cause.
My only request to everyone is to see through these tactics. Today, they may allow one protest and crush another. Tomorrow, they could reverse the roles. The idea is to keep us doubting each other instead of questioning those in power.
Don’t let conspiracy theories divide us. Don’t fall into the trap of fighting among ourselves when we should be standing together.
The fight is against Gyanesh Kumar and those protecting him. Don’t lose sight of that.

Fake news by congress IT cell.
CJP members went to some CPIM office for a meeting. See the CPIM flag in second photo.
For verification that this is same place as in the below post below, there is a guy who is not wearing slipper/shoes (first photo), he can also be seen in the fake post.
Congress just want to discredit CJP.

When your image is built by a carefully crafted multi million dollar PR you can’t take name, this is the same reason Modi too avoids taking names.

Rahul Gandhi and Congress is not a threat to BJP rather they are alibi to BJP to ‘prove’ India is a democracy.
My question to the entire Congress ecosystem and its supporters-
Why wasn’t Rahul Gandhi placed under house arrest or picked up by the police from his home early in the morning, just like the other young people who wanted to join the October 10th protest?
How did Rahul Gandhi get a free pass from the BJP govnt?

🚨 BIG BREAKING 🚨
"I had a direct personal summons from the streets of Delhi on October 10; Democracy itself called.
Nothing would have made me prouder and happier than standing shoulder-to-shoulder with the CJP youth - Abhijeet, Ashutosh, Saurav - facing the police crackdown, and taking brutal lathis alongside journalists, youth and other MPs.
But alas, the cosmic energy of 'curiosity and culture' pulled me to Chennai for a dialogue session.
While my fellow citizens were getting thrashed, bundled into jail-like detention vans, and dumped in far-off stadiums, I made the supreme sacrifice of my time by issuing a fiery 30-second video message from Tamil Nadu telling the youth: ‘Keep protesting, I am with you!’"

You are making a big mistake if you see this crowd as anti/pro Congress/BJP.
Indians are vexed with decades of political corruption.
#WATCH | Delhi: Visuals from the protest march by INDIA bloc MPs
The alliance has called a march to the Supreme Court today. They have also announced that they would file a petition before the apex court in connection with CEC Gyanesh Kumar matter and their allegations with respect to the SIR process.

This is the reason why CJP doesn't want to align with any political party, especially Congress.
While Rahul Gandhi joins student protestors in Delhi, as it gives him good optics and mileage to 'oppose' BJP, this is Congress's state Govts and alliance Govts of Telangana, Tamil Nadu and Kerala on 20th-21st July beating and dragging NEET peaceful protestors asking for a BJP union minister's resignation, exactly like BJP in Delhi.
They're hypocrites.
Congress = BJP
I can clearly see Congress’s desperation ahead of tomorrow’s protest.
They know that Rahul Gandhi alone cannot force the Modi government to bow, while even their own workers and alliance partners seem uninterested in joining a protest that risks becoming a one-man show instead of a united fight for the country.
That’s why I’m seeing a coordinated narrative, with influencers seemingly pushing the same message to pressure CJP leaders into joining Congress’s protest.
I’ve seen more than 10 tweets pushing almost the exact same line and narrative.
Does Congress really think CJP leaders and their supporters are fools who won’t see through this political game?
CJP was founded to fight for a mission, not to become a prop in Congress’s political projection of Rahul Gandhi.

Calling others cowards when he himself ran off abandoning the protestors while Delhi was a war zone. All opposition parties, youth got detained, injured etc.
And he still can't acknowledge CJP, the bunch of brave youth who have shown the nation what a true opposition is capable of. He's come to take credit for the movement they've built.
He's happily been ignoring the vote chori matter since 2014, cause BJP was giving INC one small state here and there. When BJP started taking the big states like Haryana and Maharashtra which CongRSS thought was in the bag, that's when he started speaking about it.
Frauds of CongRSS-BJP nexus must go for India to truly live.
I’ve been fighting Narendra Modi and the RSS for over a decade now. I understand them like you would understand your opponent - inside out, like the back of my hand.
The core characteristic of these people is cowardice.
Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, Mohan Bhagwat, Gyanesh Kumar and Ajit Doval, the villains of this story, are slowly finding the space closing around them. We are closing that space.
Mr. Modi, do whatever you want. Call out all the police: 10,000, 20,000, 50,000, whatever you want.
Arrest all the leaders. Arrest all the young people. Arrest us all.
We are surrounding you, and we are not going to back down. Mark my words: we already have the information we need.
We are going to defend our Constitution. We are going to protect the voice of the Indian people. And we are going to ensure that what was done to India over the last 10-15 years will never, ever be done again.
Youth of India, I am proud of you. Keep protesting. We are standing with you.
We are going to ensure that this regime and the people who have attacked our Constitution are defeated.
When people calls, he won’t participate but expects people to follow him whenever he calls.

Yesterday, the nation's young came out in Delhi to peacefully protest. They came with love in their hearts, not hatred or anger. They were beaten, both by cops and BJP goons.
This is not the India we want.
Tomorrow, we will march to the Supreme Court as Indians, united beyond party, gender, caste, community and state.
Youth, all opposition parties, civil society groups, all those who believe in democracy and stand by the Constitution of India, will walk with us.
We will submit a memorandum to the Chief Justice on behalf of the nation, demanding an end to vote chori, halting of SIR and the resignation of Gyanesh Kumar.
Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, Ajit Doval and Mohan Bhagwat cannot silence India's voice. These cowards cannot intimidate us. They will have to step aside.
We will march together, with love, brotherhood and patriotism.
Daro mat.
Tomorrow, all of India will march to the Supreme Court.

AAP faced every ugly trick of BJP.
Now using the same on youth of our country.

Dear young people,
101 of Detentions both legal and illegal-
1. Stay Calm and do not panic.
2. Make a video of any police illegality- disproportionate use of force, removal of name tags, use of sticks with nails, male cops manhandling women protestors and etc. The idea is to document them.
3. Click a picture of the vehicle's number in case you are being taken into a police stn
4. Police Vans (Dabbaas) are not random and are assigned to various police stns.
5. Sometimes police vans pick up people from the protest site: and take them to a police stn other than their own.
6. Ask the Driver/Any Inspector-PI- 3 Stars, API- 3 stars, SI- 2 stars and ASI- 1 Star as to where they are taking you.
7. Once you know where they are taking you, reach out to a lawyer/friend and keep them updated. Carry a charger/Battery bank on you.
8. Download the 'Bridgefy' app- it works via blue tooth and is available on both iOS and Android in case there is an internet shut down.
9. Normally, the modus operandi is to take your namss and mobile nos and leave you.
10. Sometimes the police, insisit on Aadhar Card nos, since people sometimes give wrong details.
11. Ensure women protestors are sent home once it is dark, Talk to the senior most officer present- (the more the No of Stars, the more senior) or an IPS Officer, who is the one normally calling the shots.
12. Get Phone nos of Sr Police Officers- DCP, Addl CP, Jt CP, CP, you can get them from the website and call them and if they dont pick up msg them on whatsapp, ideally if someone senior calls them it does have an effect.
13. Once at the police stn, please ask them for water, it is their duty to give you water.
14. Ask them what action are they taking and under what sections of law.
15. Please remember, that the police are meant to protect the citizens and not terroize them at the behest of the BJP as their militia.
16. There has to be rule of law, which means whatever the police does has to have authority of law and if they act illegally, it is our constitutional right to resist peacefully and protest against them.
17. Police have to comply with the BNSS- Criminal Procedure Code, BNS- Penal Code and Police Manual.
18. Please do not take the law into your own hands no matter what.
19. There is a police complaints authority, that one may make formal representations too. This is important since it becomes part of their record and it actually scares the cops and can lead to penal action and even the stoppage of pension, if case is decided post retirement and they are found guilty.
20. Lastly, Please do not unnecessarily fight with the cops, conserve your energy, but do asset your rights.
21. Lastly, be mindful of the fact that they are recording you too, so please be well behaved.
If all else fails, you may call me. DM Me for my number.
Sincerely,
Adv Ruben Mascarenhas
