As I bid farewell to Congress today, I depart more deeply in love with my country and more deeply disgusted by the dysfunction of our government. We can and must do better, and my mission to awaken America's exhausted majority and make common sense cool again is just beginning.

1. Human drivers kill over 5 million cats and 7,000 people annually. 2. A pedestrian was indeed killed by an autonomous car. In 2018. 3. Kudos to @MayorFrey for vetoing another absurd DSA proposal - this time to require human monitors in autonomous cars.

To reduce outside influence in our elections, let’s just limit campaign contributions to candidates a donor can actually vote for. Seems like a common sense fix to me.
