I studied this amazing work as a student @RCMLondon but never performed it. So now, forty years plus later(!), I'm absolutely thrilled to be singing this with @TheBachChoir with @davidhconductor and @BrittenSinfonia. thebachchoir.org.uk/concerts…

What a betrayal. To Ukraine. To Europe. To Congress. To the American voter, and to Lindsey Graham.

Travelling south to #Alton on @sw_train Just used the facilities and the door hardly worked on the automatic opening and closing buttons. It was filthy and its inability to operate properly would frighten a child and many others. Poor.

What a privilege it's been to be Parish Priest of Warwick Street. Today, after over thirteen years in this lovely church and lovelier people, and a wonderful farewell Mass, I give thanks for this time, as I move to a gentler pace of life. Deo gratias!

This Saturday, @BBCRadio3 celebrates the lights that have guarded our shores for generations. We'll broadcast from atmospheric lighthouses, welcome guest musicians, and send @PetrocTrelawny to a mystery location via boat. What could possibly go wrong?! bbc.co.uk/programmes/m0031pv…

How can a piece this extraordinary be unfinished? 📷 This is the Sanctus from Mozart’s Great Mass in C minor — a work Mozart never completed, yet one filled with some of the most ambitious and powerful choral writing he ever composed. Book tickets here - thebachchoir.org.uk/concerts…

This was an appalling act of violence against someone who has contributed so much to our national life. These are very concerning developments and the police must be given the resources and space they need so justice can be done as quickly as possible. My thoughts go out to Ann’s friends and family and all who loved her. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c0my…
