The people are not always right. Moral courage is always necessary in leadership. And we cannot ever think that we have permanently vanquished the ideas that Trump and so many others before him have used to lead so many Americans astray. nytimes.com/2024/11/03/opini…

There’s already a bill—the Bivens Act—tailor-made to create a constitutional cause of action against federal officials and nothing more (or less).
It adds 5 words to Section 1983.
Congress should pass it.

I, for one, don't think we should have Russian citizens representing the White House's policies to the American people. Maybe just me

It's as if the Postliberal weirdos who spent the last 2 years telling us "you have no idea what's coming" re. young white men...
...had no idea what was coming in the voting preferences of young white men.
🚨Among White Male Voters, the number preferring a candidate who advocated Trump-like policies fell from 49% in January 2025 to 32% in October 2026.
✅Roughly half of those White Men leaving the Trump base now prefer Traditional Republican policies while the other half prefer Traditional Democratic policies.
✅The decline in Trump support included 25% among White Men without a college degree, 6% among those with a Bachelors Degree, and 3% among postgrads.
✅Among White Male Evangelical Christians, the decline was 25 points (from 69% to 44%).
✅Among White Male Bible Believing Christians, the decline was 28 points (from 67% to 39%).

From the beginning of the Trump era, the greatest threat to conservatism was always from the Trump right, not the woke left. The conservatives who ignored Trump or minimized him to join with MAGA to wage war on the left were partners in their own demise.

"Please pray with us for Russia’s every effort for evil to fail; for Russians to leave Ukraine today; for an immediate ceasefire and a just peace."
If you're wondering how to pray, this came from one of our faculty and a missionary currently living in Kyiv, Ukraine.

This is completely untrue. TGC continues to put out tons and tons of resources on these issues and they’ve not discouraged people in churches from addressing them, but they’ve also also encouraged evangelism. We can do both at the same time. Also don’t scare quote the Gospel. It’s the power of God into salvation.
Pastor Michael Clary discusses how The Gospel Coalition's emphasis on "gospel-centered" ministry, winsomeness, and third-wayism discourages conservative Christians from addressing moral issues like abortion, marriage, and sexuality in the public sphere.

Pandering to the base that’s led the GOP to its worst wipeout in two generations? Seems smart.
A source close to the White House tells me of @StephenM: "He is a war time consigliere, and his hiring probably sends the best possible message to the base."

This is exceedingly dishonest. TPUSA is a huge player in American politics. It’s ok to criticize it. Jonah did not mention Charlie, and TPUSA is to be judged on its current identity and effectiveness. That is entirely fair.
While I appreciate Senator Kennedy making this case on a podcast, if the president wants to go to war, he needs to make the case to the American people and convince them, through their elected representatives in Congress, to declare war.
If the stakes were as high as Sen. Kennedy claims, then it's even more terrible that Trump didn't make the effort. By refusing to go to the people, he guaranteed he'd lack support, and you can't succeed in a difficult conflict without the support of the American people.
And if you can't convince Congress, you can't start a war.

What @JonahDispatch said was not about Charlie. It was also accurate. But some would rather silence the people who told the truth than be held accountable. Same people blame Iran but offer no name to be fired for a botched war.
New: Turning Point has thrown big money into the race to boost Andy Biggs’ bid for Arizona governor. Now, local GOP strategists are questioning their strategy.
“In all likelihood, the top statewide seats are going Democrat. And Turning Point owns it,” said a GOP operative working on Arizona races. “They wanted to be the player. They wanted to be the guy. Guess what? They are.”
