Interesting read. We've seen ~3x growth in services over last two quarters. Enterprise is implementing AI faster than you might expect.

The officiating group in the Alabama v Georgia game should be permanently removed from duty. You didn't miss it. There was no action near it and the ball in flight.
Fear or incompetence? Either should disqualify.
We need an ESPN for city governments complete with AWS Next Gen stats and over/unders on budget line items. Plucky commentators needed.
I’d like to report a robbery: it’s the City of Miami budget!
These Miami Mafiosos just passed a $3.7 BILLION budget filled with grift and graft.
The commission didn’t double in size, the population didn’t double, the city workforce didn’t double, lord knows the quality and quantity of our services haven’t doubled — the cost of government DOUBLED.
This mayor and commission are going to bankrupt the city — while enriching themselves and their cronies… #BecauseMiami
Congrats to Barrett & team. South Florida continuing to push.
Today we’re launching doxx.net, enabling Agentic Defined Networking for everyone. We raised $38M from @a16z, @AnimoVentures and Focal.vc.
Create private networks for you and your AI agents, without a server in the middle. 38M+ threats blocked since December.
Our first private-network call was a freedom call. Now it’s your turn.
Announcing Gemini 4 Argon, our new frontier model.
Argon is built to sustain deep reasoning across complex, long-horizon workflows and delivers frontier performance in complex workflows across real-world software engineering, enterprise knowledge work like legal and finance, and cybersecurity defense.
We’re also expanding the model’s output token limit to an industry-leading 1M tokens.
Argon is currently rolling out to a set of trusted cyber defenders in the Fairwind Program, with broader availability as soon as possible.
Good thought for Cardinals fans.
77 and 85. Not the ending anybody wanted, but not the season anybody expected either.
PECOTA had this team at 66 wins before Opening Day. Sixty six. The Cardinals sold at the deadline, traded away Dustin May and Lars Nootbaar, played most of the second half without any real Wild Card math left to hold onto, and still found a way to make this year matter. That says everything about who this roster actually is.
Because here is the truth, this was never really about the record. It was about JJ Wetherholt looking like a Rookie of the Year candidate from day one. It was about Jordan Walker breaking out into a genuine All-Star and taking home a Home Run Derby trophy in the most dramatic fashion possible. It was about Ivan Herrera and Riley O’Brien (tough 2nd half) joining him on that All-Star roster. It was about Joshua Baez walking into the big leagues and hitting 3 home runs in his very first game, something nobody in the history of this sport had ever done. This roster gave us more new names to fall in love with than any Cardinals team in recent memory, and that is not nothing, that is the whole point of a season like this one.
It was also about the Tarps Off crew. About a stadium that had gone quiet the last couple years finding its noise again, about Oli buying out a section for college kids because they made the building feel alive. About a fan base that could have checked out completely and instead showed up anyway, cautiously, honestly, but showed up.
So yeah, 77 and 85 is not a number anyone is thrilled about. But this team punched well above its expectations, gave us a legit young core to build around, and reminded this whole city what it feels like to actually enjoy watching Cardinals baseball again. That is a foundation. The record was never going to tell the real story of 2026.
See you next year. Bird szn never really ends, it just goes into hibernation 🤝
This could be a lucrative move. Hopefully they have specific use cases for the technology to work. If it's still pure research, it could be an empty well.
Miami is entering the quantum era. ⚛️
Through a new partnership with IonQ, FIU will become the first university in Florida to acquire a full-stack quantum computer, the Superion 256, expected on campus in 2027.
From clean energy to cybersecurity to drug discovery, our researchers and students will help shape what's next. bit.ly/4y8LXMl
Said the same thing, almost verbatim, to investors this morning. Unless you’re shipping patented hardware or truly novel technology, there’s no moat early. You might have a little trench to hop.
America re-industrializing is the headline. Give our youth things to build, and build pride.
Thanks to President Trump’s leadership on AI:
— a million new jobs have been created around the AI buildout;
— 401(k)s are up ~12% this year as AI capex and productivity lift the market;
— America is re-industrializing, including the first large private investments in power generation and the grid in a generation;
— In rural Richland Parish, Louisiana, teachers just received $50,000 bonuses from data-center tax revenue.
Because the media portrays AI only as a menace, people tell pollsters they “don’t like AI.” Their behavior says otherwise. AI products are the fastest-adopted technology in history — faster than the internet or the iPhone. People like the tools, the jobs, and the tax base.
President Trump understands the media hoax cycle better than anyone else. That is why he is refusing the “pause” that Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren are demanding. A pause would not make America safer. It would hand the frontier to China. That would be a disaster for the American economy and for national security.
This is such a politically astute maneuver. There is a large swath of the public who believe Big Pharma has used regulatory capture to skirt liability. Building this parallel framing is likely to resonate with that cohort and drive significant news coverage.
Legal analysts right now are furiously texting every booker they know offering to comment.
🚨BREAKING: Jensen Huang just EXPOSED Dario and Altman’s "Rogue AI" grift to avoid getting sued into oblivion under EXISTING law
“Don't let this doomsday narrative cause somebody to relieve them of the laws that currently exist.
Go and read between the lines. They're actually not asking for more laws; they're asking to be relieved of the laws we do have.”
ABSOLUTE TRUTH NUKE
Congrats to @OleMissFB. That was one of the best early season games I've seen in some time. The drama was so good.
Extremely bullish on the future of American manufacturing.
Our Franklin, Louisiana team just completed the hull flip for our third Marauder, a major production milestone, with Marauders 4 and 5 already moving through the line behind it.
Our first Marauder is on the water, with a second close behind. We're moving fast to meet the urgency of the moment.
With the expansion of our Franklin shipyard, we’re building the capacity to produce 20 Marauders every year, equivalent to one every 18 days.
Congratulations to the entire Franklin team for making it happen. We're just getting started.
Hear! Hear!
I’m so proud of the entire Falcon 9 team (ok the whole SpaceX team)! Landing a rocket (over 10 years ago) paved the way for Falcon to change the game on getting payloads to orbit. Falcon 9 is a mostly reusable system that is far more reliable, far more economical and far less wasteful than its “use once and toss” rocket counterparts. Starship is Falcon 9’s successor and will be both fully and rapidly reusable (think airplanes) and that will make for a very exciting space future.
Congrats once again to the Falcon 9 and broader SpaceX team!
The proliferation of this is rampant already. Non-technical people seem to be the worst offenders - they’ll prompt a task they have and post the results as work product in Confluence/Notion/Asana riddled with errors and meaningless text.
Then ask for notes. Look how productive I am!
Lazy work used to mean too little output.
Now, with AI, it often means too much and more work for everyone else.
@tobi call it "slop grenades."
A "Slop Grenade" is when you let AI produce the work and pass it on without adding any value (including checking it).
Someone else has to wade through it, catch the mistakes, and clean up the mess.
You save time and look productive but someone else pays for it.
How wide spread is this? I have spoken with several major universities in the last couple of weeks and I'm hearing this more and more.
D-I athletics right now:
• UCLA: $219M cumulative deficit
• Rutgers: $516.9M in cumulative shortfalls since joining the Big10
• Iowa State: $147M projected budget gap
• NC State: $18.5M projected deficit
• Dozens of varsity programs eliminated in the last year
• New fees passed to fans
More money than ever, still not enough.
Fewer opportunities. Greater instability.
This isn’t what college sports should be.
