The conventional wisdom is that the outcome comes down to two possibilities: Benjamin Netanyahu stays in power, or Gadi Eisenkot replaces him. But what if neither scenario happens? @Gil_Hoffman join's @ArkMediaOrg's Call me Back to examine. Listen here: lnk.to/DTggNv

In case anyone is unclear, Abdul El-Sayed doesn't have a problem with the money. He has a problem with Israel. He's also a liar, and here are just a few of the receipts.
1️⃣ About 86% of U.S. military aid to Israel is already spent in America, mostly with U.S. defense contractors. By 2028 it’s 100%.
2️⃣ Israel is buying $1.98 billion in military vehicles built partly in Auburn Hills, paying part of it with its own money. Michigan, Abdul.
3️⃣ In January, Netanyahu said he wants U.S. military aid tapered to zero within about a decade.
4️⃣ Iron Dome interceptors are built in Arizona and Arkansas, and the U.S. Army bought two batteries.
5️⃣ Israel shares intelligence with America on an ongoing basis. The two countries have had a formal counterterrorism pact on information sharing since 1996, and the State Department calls Israel “a committed counterterrorism partner, closely coordinating with the United States.” Two highlights: In 2017, Israel tipped off the U.S. to ISIS’s plot to hide bombs in laptops on airliners. In 2018, the Mossad stole Iran’s secret nuclear archive out of Tehran and shared it with U.S. intelligence, and the secretary of state called the files authentic.
6️⃣ Israel votes with the U.S. at the UN more than any other country: 76% of the time, against a 17% average.
7️⃣ He told NBC the U.S. just paid $2.8 billion for 2,000-pound bombs for Israel. That sale was put on hold and hasn’t been finalized.
While I agree with what Nadav says here, it was frustrating to read — that these very obvious points even need to be spelled out.
A candidate for the U.S. Senate says Israel is not America's friend.
I'm Israeli. I grew up in Israel. My family is Israeli. And I can tell you this: Few nations hold America as close to their hearts as Israelis do. Fact: Israelis admire America. 81% of Israelis view the United States favorably - the highest percentage among 36 countries surveyed by Pew in 2026. Who else in the Middle East does?
No other U.S. ally can have 200 fighter jets in the sky in 3 hours notice. Modest compared with America's military might, certainly. But backed by something more important: a profound commitment to the United States, regardless of who occupies the White House. Security is real. Capabilities are real. And friendship is real too. This candidate understands nothing of it. He is trying to pick up votes through hate.
None of this requires defending Netanyahu. None of it requires endorsing everything Israel has done in recent years.
It requires understanding one fact: Israel America's most enduring ally in the Middle East.
Criticizing an Israeli government is legitimate. Pretending Israel is America's enemy is something else entirely.
Any other notion is just bigotry masquerading as conspiracy theory- or conspiracy theory masquerading as bigotry.

Listening to him, you’d think Iran’s regime- with its state slogan of “Death to America,” brutal repression, and murderous fundamentalism - was America’s natural friend.
And that the real reason Washington and Tehran are enemies isn’t the mullahs, but Israel.
If that sounds like conspiracy bigotry, it probably is.

The full exhange from my interview with Abdul El-Sayed on whether Israel is a U.S. ally, how Netanyahu's ouster would change his views and his message to Jewish Democrats on the fence about his candidacy in Michigan's Senate race. @MSNOWNews
Last week I was in Michigan for an address before the local Jewish community at Temple Israel in West Bloomfield, 7 months after a terrorist tried to slaughter over 100 young Jewish children at the temple school (thank G-D they were physically unharmed). @AbdulElSayed tried to rationalize that attack (“hurt people…hurt people”). He’s trying to establish a new normal, and isolate those congressional Democrats who are “anti-Netanyahu but pro-Israel.”
new on @MSNOWNews: @AbdulElSayed tells @mychaelschnell @peggyhelman01 he could question Israel as an ally whether Netanyahu stays in power or not -- some of the sharpest criticism of US-Israel relations in the Democratic party
