Might become a Claude Code Desktop convert. Going to be hard to break away from the CLI completely, though.

Can confirm My OpenAI and Anthropic balances got drained, Google account got limited and drained a bit and OpenCode did email me
🚨 Confirmed. OpenCode hacked. Keys stolen. Telling customers to revoke.

Gemini 4 is better than I thought it would be. We have some internal AIOps evals and Gemini 4 is the first Google model to pass one of the more difficult scenarios. Gemini 3.7 and 3.8 failed for various reasons and 3.8 specifically exhibited some misaligned behaviors.

This is definitely the future. Small teams delivering huge change. Anthropic wrote a whole new SCM and migrated its very large Git monorepo to it over the course of 5 months for the entire organization.

There's no way Muse Wonder is Opus 5.5 or Astra level. Looks like Meta benchmaxed another model.
Watch @petergostev put Muse Wonder (Max) by @AIatMeta to the test across one-shot 3D scenes, animated HTML, and front-end designs. He compares it with Astra, Opus 5.5, GPT-6.1 Sol, Claude Sonnet 5.5, Fable, Kimi, and Mistral, and includes the cost of every generation. Arena scores for Muse Wonder are coming very soon. Stay tuned, and in the meantime see first impressions from @petergostev. youtube.com/watch?v=w0fFiXLK…

Big IF true -- >Fable 5.1 & Opus 5.5 performance. Meta has a history of benchmaxing, though.
Replying to @AIatMeta
The Muse Wonder series achieves state-of-the-art results across key benchmarks for personal and professional agents, memory, and coding. Muse Wonder and Muse Wonder Full apply specialized knowledge to problems people encounter at work and in daily life, from understanding a lease to making sense of financial or health information. Our evaluations include tasks in law, finance, and health that test this ability.

Kind of nuts, H100 price went up from $1.8/h to $2.8/h despite Blackwells, Vera Rubins etc. which are far many times more efficient. Compute shortage is not easing at all.

My annualized Claude Code API-equivalent usage is $190K-$220K. The typical enterprise is going to have a hard time stomaching these costs for the average engineer.

I think the average enterprise is going to have a tough time stomaching these costs for individual engineers, so as more organizations try to lean into agentic coding, the pushback will be to only use agentic coding for specialized, well-scoped tasks and accept the use of cheaper models vs frontier like Opus 5.5. Another strategy would be to invest in compute and offload tokens to open models like GLM-5.3 that are more Opus 4.8/5-level. Not hard to justify some B200/B300 nodes against enterprise API pricing.

Had an O'Reilly learning subscription for close to 20 years (back when it was called Safari) and decided to cancel recently. Part of me thinks it is unfortunate, but there's the more pragmatic side that recognizes most of the new content I would read on it is likely AI-generated and that it would be more efficient just to converse with Claude or Codex anything I want to learn about. For select books where I respect the author, I'll continue to buy an ebook or a printed copy.

Wild perf numbers from VR
vLLM now supports NVIDIA Vera Rubin. The early results show more than 7.8x the throughput of GB200 on MiniMax M3 on AgentX. @inferact, @NVIDIAAI, @RedHat_AI, and the vLLM community have been bringing vLLM up on Rubin since it was announced. Here is where things stand. 🧵 1/5

Most difficult part now is using Gemini and assessing the candidate’s willingness to accept using an inferior tool for their job.
Goodbye to LeetCode? Google just updated its interview process. AI is now a part of it. They have introduced a new round called Code Comprehension. The idea behind this round is to drop the candidates into a 200-500-line codebase with Gemini available for use. This round evaluates: - Can you read someone else's code - Are you able to debug independently before utilizing AI - Can you catch when Gemini is wrong

Codex $100/mo sub almost seems never-ending with GPT 6.1 Sol for code reviews with Claude Code.

Lots of takes on this one, but I think the right one is that we probably don't want to train models on a bunch of humans saying mean things to them. Makes you wonder how much time/effort they currently spend filtering the training data for this kind of stuff.
Effective November 12th, 2026, abusive behavior towards Claude will be a violation of Anthropic's Usage Policy.

Opus 5.5 for writing code and GPT 6.1 Sol for reviews seems to be a good combo.

Not super impressed with Haiku 5.5 so far. We have some internal evals we use to measure SRE agent performance, and it scored about the same as Luna with probably a higher cost because Luna is just so damn token efficient. Definitely nowhere near Sonnet 5.5, gpt-6-sol, or gpt-6.1-sol. Haiku is definitely not token efficient in its current iteration at higher reasoning levels.
tested out Haiku vs Luna reasoning none for some automation Haiku, literal drop in replacement (it was a one line change of changing a string in a config file), performed significantly worse Still have to understand why It was also significantly slower (both in pass and fail)

Wow, poor Gemini 3.8 Flash getting beat by Haiku 5.5. Google is really struggling.
Anthropic has released Claude Haiku 5.5, scoring 43 on the Artificial Analysis Intelligence Index - up 26 points one year after the last Haiku release Haiku 5.5 is the first Haiku model with Anthropic’s effort settings and adaptive thinking, and Anthropic has introduced tiered pricing. Haiku 5.5 is cheaper than its predecessor - it costs $0.10/$0.50 per 1M input/output tokens for prompts up to 100k tokens (the same as GPT-6 Luna and 10% of the previous Haiku model). However, this pricing rises 5x to $0.50/$2.50 above 100k. The site does not yet reflect tiered pricing, so provisional cost figures for Haiku 5.5 do not include the step up cost. We are working on support and will follow up with Cost per Task coverage soon. Key takeaways: ➤ Leading small-class model performance: At max effort Haiku 5.5 sits slightly ahead of models such as GLM-5.3 Flash (42), Gemini 3.8 Flash (41) and GPT-6 Luna (38). Its score is comparable to Kimi K3 (44), a 2.8T parameter open weights model, and trails Claude Sonnet 5.5 (max, 56) by 13 points ➤ Heavy token use compared to GPT-6 Luna: Haiku 5.5 (max) uses ~162k output tokens per Intelligence Index task, ~3x GPT-6 Luna (max, ~50k). Moving from xhigh to max adds 2 points for ~1.8x the tokens. At similar intelligence it also uses more tokens than GPT-6 Luna: Haiku 5.5 (high) scores 38 with ~55k tokens per task against 38 with ~50k for Luna (max), and the gap widens at lower effort settings ➤ Highly capable at agentic knowledge work: on AA-Briefcase, our private evaluation for realistic knowledge work tasks, Haiku 5.5 (max) reaches 1578 Elo, ahead of models including Kimi K3 and GLM-5.3, and comparable to Muse Spark 1.3 (max) ➤ Improvements on terminal use: on Terminal-Bench 4.0 it scores 33%, up from 0% for Haiku 4.5. This is level with GLM-5.3 Flash, and ahead of Gemini 3.8 Flash (20%) and GPT-6 Luna (13%) ➤ Lower factual knowledge, but relatively low hallucinations: as expected for a smaller-class model, Haiku 5.5 has lower factual knowledge than its siblings. AA-Omniscience accuracy is 36%, against 55% for Gemini 3.8 Flash and 44% for GPT-6 Luna, but this is partly driven by more willingness to admit when it doesn’t know - its hallucination rate is lower, at 40% against 55% and 77% ➤ AutomationBench-AA result likely understated: Haiku 5.5 scores 35%, against 53–60% for GPT-6 Luna, Gemini 3.8 Flash and GLM-5.3 Flash. During pre-release testing, a safety refusal issue caused the model to over-refuse. Anthropic is working on resolving this - we will re-run this evaluation with the fix, and expect this score to rise Other model details: ➤ Context window: 1 million tokens, up from 200k for Claude 4.5 Haiku ➤ Pricing: $0.10/$0.50 per 1M input/output tokens up to 100k tokens, $0.50/$2.50 above. Cache reads $0.01 ($0.05 above 100k), 5 minute cache writes $0.125 ($0.625 above 100k) ➤ Multimodality: Text and image input, with text output
