DJ culture is one of the best things about Vegas. No city has more nightlife events, hundreds of big and small DJ gigs every week. There is a large, friendly community of top quality DJs living here, sharing good vibes, a passion for music, the weirdness of Vegas, it’s unique. 🎧

A good DJ could have one deck and a microphone and smash a club. A good DJ could not talk at all and smash a club. Look for live sets and club mixes to judge a DJ. Not IG posts and travel dates.
Bravo sir. Bravo

True DJing is an art form only mastered by those who put in time & effort. While the term “DJ” has become more of an adjective than a noun, every so often youll listen to someone you know has thousands of hours behind them. No amount fireworks or 3D visuals can compete with that.

There is a window in time where a DJ will be “Hot” and “In Demand.” Some windows are short and some are long. This is for certain: IF you aren’t a good DJ you will not last once your popularity dies down. Once the popularity subsides, YOU MUST BE A GOOD DJ.

To all my fellow DJs that are taking traveling gigs, get the RIGHT rate… not the RIGHT NOW rate. If you can stay away from a lower rate today, tomorrow you will get more.
This is the prestigious gold @dmc_world @dmcusadjbattles world championship mixer trophy . I used it and beat it to shreads because i couldn’t afford a mixer. I was a broke World dj champion. Had to turn that situation around. Just a brief history.

WOW. @LVMPD in tactical gear and shields on one side. #BlackLivesMatter protesters at the courthouse in #LasVegas on the other side. Lots of shouting. And then THIS. Handshakes shared between protesters & police. Amazing. @8NewsNow #8NN
