We investigated the fake airdrop announcement posted in our Discord. The incident involved compromised moderator access: a moderator account granted elevated permissions to an account impersonating MEE6. That account then enabled an impersonator of SILVER SURFER to create the unauthorized announcement channel. The moderator’s staff access has been removed. We have also revoked the identified malicious permissions, deleted the suspect webhook, and removed the attacker-created invites. We are still establishing whether the initial moderator actions resulted from deception or an account takeover. The airdrop announcement and its claim link were not authorized by DIVERGENTS. Do not visit the site, connect a wallet, or sign requests from it. If you interacted with it, report what happened through our established support channels. Never share seed phrases or private keys. A breach of the official MEE6 service has not been established. We’re sorry this happened in our server, and we’ll share further verified findings as the investigation continues.
