Two things live rent-free in my head right now: AI and prediction markets. Agentic infra + prediction markets is where I think crypto actually goes next.
Got a longer, honest post coming on how we got here, and why this cycle only rhymes with the last one, doesn't repeat it.
Sooner than you think, fam.
DM - have a few invites. TG groups with an AI assistant should be a no brainer
Today we announced that Router is winding down.
Straight talk, because that is what this community has always given us: the business did not work. Bridging fees kept falling, costs never slept, and no amount of effort or stubbornness could make that math close. Interop had its season, the way every meta in crypto does, and we did not get out of the way of the cycle in time. We tried our best, and it was not enough. I will not dress that up, and I will not point anywhere but at those of us who led. To everyone who believed in us: I am sorry we let you down. You deserved a better ending than this.
But close to a decade in this industry teaches you that the measure of an effort is not only whether it succeeds. It is who shows up, and who stays. You showed up. You stayed through the quiet stretches and the hard nights, through two exploits and a chart that stopped cooperating, when walking away would have been the rational thing to do. You argued with us because you cared, and you made us better for it. You asked for very little and gave a great deal. Whatever the ticker says, that does not go to zero. It has been an honour, honestly, and I am humbled by it more than a post can hold.
Thank you for building this with us.
Thank you for staying.
Governments keep locking down the most powerful AI models.
First Anthropic's Fable 5, restricted at US government request. Then Claude Mythos 5, suspended globally with a single directive. Now GPT-5.6 Sol, OpenAI's new flagship, rationed to a small group of approved partners at the US government's ask.
The logic: control the frontier, control the future.
The problem: it's not working.
2024: "Open-source will never catch GPT-4."
2025: "OK, but it'll never match GPT-5."
2026: GLM 5.2 drops. 744 billion parameters, fully open-source, from Zhipu AI. Benchmarks match the best closed models. Multiple independent builders are already running it in agentic workflows today.
Qwen 3 matches GPT-4.5. Mistral ships weekly. Llama 4 runs on a Mac Mini.
Every time a government restricts a frontier model, it writes a blank cheque to the open-source ecosystem. Sovereign AI is no longer a manifesto. It's a product roadmap.
And hardware cannot be suppressed by executive orders. Edge chips get cheaper every quarter. A $2,400 Mac Mini M4 Pro runs models that cost $500/month on API last year. Intel Arc, Qualcomm Snapdragon, NVIDIA Jetson, all moving in the same direction.
The gatekeeping didn't slow down AI. It just moved it offshore and on-device.
You can't sanction math. Sovereignty wins. This is not priced in.
Building leveraged markets for binary options (prediction markets) has a very 2016-building-bitmex feel (I imagine). Lots of open questions, but loads of opportunity, with capital efficiency the dominant underlying theme.
The question that decides whether any of it actually works: what happens when a binary market gaps through your margin?
@blinqfi research team just wrote the definitive answer. The part that matters most: we don't lever the markets that jump. The ones we admit didn't gap 5¢ in a minute even on a $168M, 38-point election night.
Jump risk is the elephant in the room. Our whole design philosophy is building a room big enough to hold it.

The industry keeps selling the dream of a “multi-chain future.”
But every new bridge exploit proves the same thing:
❌ bridges are still one of the biggest attack surfaces in crypto.
The recent Kelp DAO exploit wasn’t just an operational mistake.
It exposed something deeper:
Even “institutional-grade” cross-chain infrastructure is still fragile.
That’s exactly why @routerprotocol $ROUTE new direction with OGA matters.
Instead of treating interoperability as:
“move assets from A to B through another fragile bridge”
OGA rethinks the execution layer itself.
Bridges, DEXs, solvers, liquidity venues → all become programmable nodes inside one execution graph.
Meaning:
* dynamic route optimization
* isolated failures (one broken route doesn’t nuke the whole execution)
* real-time solver reputation
* programmable liquidity orchestration
* lower dependency on single points of failure
This is a fundamentally different architecture from the old “bridge everything” model.
And now combine that with:
* AI-agent execution via MCP
* SDK integrations
* on-ramp abstraction
* B2B infrastructure expansion
* Route App as the first execution layer showcase
Router isn’t trying to become:
“another bridge.”
It’s trying to become:
the execution fabric underneath cross-chain finance.
That’s the direction the industry eventually needs if:
* institutions move on-chain
* AI agents become users
* multi-chain complexity keeps growing
Because real adoption won’t happen through fragile patchwork infrastructure.
It happens when cross-chain interactions become:
✅ abstracted
✅ reliable
✅ programmable
✅ invisible to the user
And that’s the thesis behind OGA + Router.
At ~600k marketcap, the market still barely notices what’s being built here.

Big upgrade for our Bitcoin routing.
BOB Gateway (@build_on_bob) is now integrated into Router's OGA!
Native BTC routes are now live, giving users and partners access to some of the best BTC <-> wBTC and stablecoin routes across 11+ chains.
Gets even better ↓

BOB Gateway is now integrated into @RouterProtocol.
Native BTC routes are live and Router's users and partner apps have access to the best native BTC ↔ wBTC and stablecoin routes across 11+ chains.
To celebrate, frontend fees are waived on all BOB-supported BTC routes on Router for the next 3 months.

Genuine question for prediction markets peeps - what's actually valuable to you:
A) Live alerts when CT narrative diverges from market price
B) Smart money wallet tracking - who's winning and what they're positioned on
C) Early narrative scouting before the market even exists
Asking before building something. Replies > likes here.

There's a shift happening.
Agents don't just analyze anymore. They execute.
Introducing Router MCP: AI agents can now trade across chains and find the best routes in real time.
For years, everything onchain relied on users handling the complexity. Now agents take over.
i build a prediction market with leverage, @blinqfi
and we’re hiring
