On 28 October 2026, the Government announced new support to help with rising energy costs. This includes a £100 payment for households in Council Tax bands A to D.
We expect the Government to give us more information about this support in the coming weeks.
At the moment, we believe this will be a one-off £100 payment and won’t be taken off your Council Tax bill or paid as a Council Tax refund. Please continue to pay your Council Tax as normal.
Thank you for your patience while some of our online services were temporarily unavailable earlier this week.
Everything should now be working as normal. If you were unable to complete a form earlier this week, please try again now
Some of our online forms are temporarily unavailable.
Like many organisations across the UK and internationally, we’re responding to a security issue affecting software that powers websites worldwide. As a precaution, some forms have been taken offline while updates are applied.
We’re teaming up with Keep Britain Tidy for Fly-Tipping Fortnight.
Over the next two weeks we’ll be sharing stories of people who have been caught dumping rubbish illegally, telling you what we’re doing to stop it and sharing information on how to spot rouge traders.
Last year in the Your Voice Counts Survey, you told us that fly-tipping and keeping the streets clean was incredibly important to you, and it’s a priority for us too.
Dumping waste is illegal. Report it to us orlo.uk/ykfjd , or call 08085 834333.
If we missed your recycling collection today (Friday), please leave your bin out tomorrow (Saturday) and crews will return as soon as they can. Thank you for your patience.
After 25 years, our city’s Sky Blues return to the Premier League tonight.
Good luck @CoventryCityFC. The city is with you!
