This is one of the rarest machines in my collection, a CADO CAT made by CADOSYSTEMS in Torrance CA in the 1980’s. It supported 4 simultaneous users on an 8 bit 8085A processor and 16KB (not MB or GB, 16 Kilobytes) of RAM using a proprietary operating system. Every Democrat legislator yesterday demanded American citizens be disarmed because a criminal committed a crime, while today we find out that a senator is saying, out loud, that she wants to prosecute every Republican member of any Republican administration to keep Republicans from participating in government.

Tapping into the screen interface and OCRing the data right off the screen without any way for the manufacturer to know or block it and then sending the data to another system is *exactly* the kind of stuff I did making a living writing "interfaces" that weren't supposed to exist. I do not condone hacking, but I can appreciate the cleverness that goes in to it.

You should remind your friends that the GOP wants to interpret a midterm loss as a repudiation of Trump and a call for a return to “respectable conservatism,” just like it did in 2018, 2020, and 2022.
The GOP will never “learn its lesson” and actually represent its voters. This is a fundamental misunderstanding of what the party has existed for, which is to contain those voters rather than represent them.
The only thing that will change that is continuing the process of having Patriots take it over. This has already been remarkably fruitful. It works. We simply need to keep pushing.
Develop a plan to get 10 of your friends to vote for Republicans with you in the midterms. You have time.
