Wanna draw eyes like these?👀
Grab your favorite brush and let’s create beautiful, detailed eyes!
Start by roughly sketching the shape of the eye, then:
- Darken the upper lash line
- Pick a color that contrasts with the main eye color, and paint the iris
- Add the main eye color little by little
✨Tip: Don't use just one color the whole time. Take your time and build up the colors layer by layer!
Got the base down? Now let's add the details!
👁️ Iris
- Make the top of the iris darker
- Add a dark pupil + small white highlight in the center
- Add highlights near the bottom
✨Tip: Blend the edges between the iris and the white of the eye with a middle color for a more natural look.
💧 Waterline
- Add a light color + darker line along the lower eyelid to separate it from the white of the eye
👀 Eyelashes
- Draw along the curve of the lash line
- Draw the lower lashes as small, pointed shapes
- Make the upper lashes thicker
✨ Finishing touches
- Add darker shadows around the brows, lids, and outer corner of the eye
- Add highlights as you like
