If our vote truly didn’t count, why do Republicans in power keep doing everything they can to make it harder for us to cast our ballots?! 🤔

BOMBSHELL 🇧🇷 The Bolsonaro campaign paid a US company big $$$ to manipulate the Brazilian elections, spreading rumors and disinformation, creating fake accounts on social media, and using "psychological warfare techniques" and infiltration methods to discredit opponents.

Blow: On June 1st, 1927 in queens, there was a giant Klan rally right? A thousand klansmen got into a scuffle with 100 police officers. And when the dust settled, seven. Only seven people were arrested. One of those people was Fred Trump.
Cooper: When I see this in print, I can verify
Phillip: The story has been reported many times.

This is the most viewed video today in Brazil on Social Media and TV.
It's ex-Bolsonaro supporter telling everyone how Bolsonaro plans to sell Brazil to the US.

Thank you for informing/reminding the public about the onslaught of violent hate we endure every day as candidates & public servants — particularly women, Black, brown, queer, immigrant & non-Christian people.
It’s why too few good people choose a life of public service.
Hey there. If you’re going to call my phone and lob racial slurs, don’t block your number. Say it with your chest.

A judge of Brazil’s top electoral court rules that Meta must adopt measures to immediately secure equal treatment of the two presidential candidates ahead of an Oct. 25 runoff. nbcnews.com/world/south-amer…
She’s right. Innovation isn't the question. The question is who carries the cost & who keeps the gains. Before cities put driverless cars on its streets, workers deserve a plan, not a press release.
Slow down & get it right!

BREAKING: @AOC just donated $1 million to help @AbdulElSayed win? Here's why...
Question last night to @neeratanden: "If a progressive candidate this year were to win a in a competitive race, like Abdul El Sayed in Michigan, would you consider that to be vindication of the electability of progressive politics?"
Neera's answer to @mehdirhasan: "If he wins, it absolutely vindicates that a candidate like him can win there." Boom. Let's win this thing!
The fight for #mediajustice has international consequences.
This story is extremely important:
A whistleblower revealed that Brazil's far-right Bolsonaro family dynasty met with Meta to discuss US plans to interfere in Brazil's election, to prevent Lula from winning.
Lula's Facebook and Instagram accounts were censored a few days before the first round of the presidential election.
This had a huge impact on the election, because Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp, which are all owned by Meta, are the most popular apps in Brazil, and are hugely influential all across Latin America. (Jair Bolsonaro's son Flávio was declared the winner of the first round of the vote, by a narrow margin.)
Meta later admitted that Lula's accounts had been restricted, but it claimed that this was supposedly due to a "technical error"...
The whistleblower who disclosed this is Nadia Beller, a Bolivian journalist who was almost killed by hitmen hired by Fernando Cerimedo, a far-right Argentine political operative who oversees election interference, bots, and disinformation campaigns.
Cerimedo is closely linked to the US government and has worked for pretty much every right-wing leader in Latin America. He was photographed with Donald Trump Jr. and members of the Bolsonaro family, and he received an award at Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida a few months before he was arrested for the failed assassination attempt against Beller, his pregnant ex-girlfriend.

They can’t beat her at the polls, so the 🍊🤡 weaponizes a federal agency to (try to) punish her for speaking truth to power.
They will fail.
Proud to serve beside her in Congress in January!
