He really isn't disconnected from reality, he's being held to completely different standards than other QBs on the roster. If he did produce like back in 2020, there would still be fans calling for Sanders, it's just ridiculous.

Baker unified the fans .. just not the media
The last drafted Browns QB to unify the fan base. 41 years later, they鈥檙e still looking for a successor. #100YearsWar

Don鈥檛 know how a single person could feel differently @RGIII
The Cleveland Browns should start Shedeur Sanders.

Love ya Emmet but he ain鈥檛 wrong .. have lived in 4 major cities in my lifetime .. no cities media is harder on their athletes than Cleveland .. and that includes Philly & NYC
As you said coach, you didn't start following the Browns until last year.

You have decided this after 7 nfl starts?.. that is just a stupid statement
We don't need to explore any further. Most already know. We need a qb.

Yet they still thought throwing 52 passes was a good idea

Yall just don鈥檛 have supporting cast on offense to support any QB under contract. Starting with OL to WR room rn.

In a league built for parity, the Browns are 55-98-1 in the 10 seasons since they hired Paul DePodesta as their chief strategy officer.

So crazy .. when I was a young Chef I tried to talk to as many as the greats as possible.. worked in their kitchens for free .. anything for knowledge .. this is just shocking to me

Just not true .. I鈥檓 sure that鈥檚 what they want the narrative to be though ..
Replying to @chefsymon
Both are true. We failed him and he failed us, ultimately. Feels like he needed to be humbled to mature and idk if that was happening here. Talk to people behind the scenes and he was not easy to work with. Did not take accountability or treat people well. Quite the diva.

Well he did also think the Steelers should have rode with Pickett so there is that

Bradshaw knows ball and I think he鈥檚 right. The consequence of drafting a media sensation in the 5th rd is the most Browns thing ever.

Such a stupid argument .. I guess Montana & Young also were game managers .. give me a break .. just admit he is a very solid qb & in Cleveland took over the worst team in franchise history and was part of turning it around .. browns mgt should be required to help w/growth
Baker required everything else in place. A franchise QB elevates the team. Let's face it, if it was not for Chubb, the offense in the season following Baker's rookie year, was not good. He has done well at Tampa while having longest time to throw and having a HOF WR

Yeah that's fair. But @chefsymon this guy is a total entitled clown. Consensus but NFL scouts. Hence why he slipped. The guy is a total clown personality wise and his skillset is good but not great. Don't gaslight. Or you don't really know football and are just oblivious.

Oakmont is trash. Hideously ugly course, HORRIBLE to watch golfers play in a fucking pasture. I don鈥檛 blame him, they need to plow that course under, worst US Open EVER
