The current sick note system puts unnecessary pressure on our already overwhelmed health system. Eliminating physician responsibility to write sick notes for minor illnesses could free up an extra 6 million patient visits per year!
"If we can get rid of something that really has no medical benefit to anybody, but does add to the workload that family doctors are experiencing, that's a real win for all of us."
