SpaceX is progressing rapidly. The Raptor 3 engine entered service earlier this year and has already flown to space 117 times, corresponding to 39 engines on each Starship launch.
By comparison, the RS-25, the principal engine of the Artemis Space Launch System, has accumulated 413 flights across the Space Shuttle programme and Artemis missions combined, a span of approximately 40 years.
Flight 13 and Flight 14, side by side.
Booster 21 lost an engine at T+1:16. So for roughly a minute before hot-staging, it was flying on just 32 engines.
At T+2:18, Flight 14 was still faster than Flight 13, even though it was about 1 km lower. And Ship 41 still made orbit.
That is what 33 Raptor 3s give you, serious redundancy. On a rocket with only 7 engines, losing one could kill the mission.

Des balanes ? Des poux de baleine ? Ou autre chose ?
Quelqu’un sait exactement ce qu’il retire du corps de cette baleine?

The jobs apocalypse is postponed. An AI jobs boom is here
According to @TheEconomist, AI is actually proving to be a net job creator in the US, easily generating over 1M new positions (from data center construction to AI engineering) to offset back-office layoffs.
While routine admin and customer service roles face real disruption, the overall labor market is proving resilient.
