Our collaboration with @WillPPK on NOX5 is out. We captured NOX5 in different activation states, and used MD simulation to explore the initiation of electron transfer. An unexpected Zn finger was also identified that is critical for function. nature.com/articles/s41467-0…

@jvic_gomes even determined another structure for the paper – bound to a non-activating sugar – to test our model for chemical specificity. Worked out beautifully!
