Validity Transactions use the normal fee rules according to their type
A transaction that is not included does not pay onchain execution fees. An included transaction pays normal execution fees, even if it reverts
Every Validity Transaction must set an expiry no more than 60 seconds out
You can tighten it further to a position inside a block, from Flashblock 1 to 10
A Validity Transaction is a normal signed transaction, sent with conditions
Conditions stay offchain, and they can check a balance, a storage slot, the block number or the Flashblock index
Only the transaction itself lands onchain, and only once the conditions are satisfied
Signed transactions on Base can now wait for the right moment
With Cobalt, Validity Transactions let you attach conditions, like a balance, a storage value or a block number
The transaction only lands while they hold. If they never do, it never lands and you pay nothing
