Base Batches W3 A packed week, split pretty evenly between growing as founders and growing the product. • Sat down with peeps from the Base ecosystem team and picked their brains on the trends they're seeing and where they think the onchain landscape is heading. • Design session with @PhilHedayatnia , co-founder & CEO of Airfoil. Got an insiders look on how he approaches design and his framing stuck with me: great design is applied psychology. Study how people think and behave, then build around it. Best part was getting our own landing page/webapp critiqued live, and the biggest takeaway for us: your product should sell the vision, not just the features. • AMA with @seanlippel, GP at Fintech Collective. Few people sit at the intersection of TradFi and crypto the way he does, and hearing how he sees the two converge over the next few years was very insightful. For a team building the onchain version of traditional markets, this was definitely the highlight of the week. • @therymac on founder-led marketing: how to position yourself, tell a story people actually connect with, and be clear on why you're the one building this. 2. Collaboration • Every team gets a dedicated mentor, and we couldn't have been matched better than with @j_austincain . His expertise lines up almost exactly with what we're building, and we spent our time pressure-testing GTM and how Tribeca fits into the Base ecosystem. • Had a great discussion with @AhaanRaizada on bringing Base to Asia, and seeing @jessepollak in the trenches with Chinese traders made it clear how serious Base is about going global. We want @Tribeca_xyz to be part of that push. 我们正在 Base 上打造全球股票市场! • Caught up with @mercatus_ai , who building a market for AI tokens. Love seeing price discovery applied to compute. Super cracked team and the product is genuinely innovative so check them out! 3. Reflections • What stands out most is how much Base invests in every team, in both the founders and the products. Despite us being so early stage, it is amazing to see the team put their weight behind us and what we are triyng to build. If you're building, come build on @base and build in public.
