One year ago we lost Ace Frehley, and he's still deeply missed by his fans and by me. Ace and I always shared a special mutual respect. There was never any competition between us, just an appreciation for each other's talents. I always admired his unique style and his legacy as KISS's original guitarist. Knowing that Ace respected my playing, and wasn't shy about saying so, was one of the greatest compliments I could ever receive. I'll always cherish that. Miss you, Ace. RIP

Something I never knew existed! At Lexington Comic-Con, I discovered this 1992 Superman comic with a full-page KISS REVENGE ad on the back cover. I had no idea the record company promoted Revenge in comic books. Superman and KISS… 1992 doesn’t get much cooler than this! 🤘⚡️

Happy 60th Anniversary to STAR TREK! 🖖I loved the original series so much that when I was a teenager, I built this model of the USS Enterprise. And I still have it! Hard to believe it’s been 60 years since Star Trek first aired on September 8, 1966. The show, the characters and the creative writing has inspired generations! And how appropriate that just a few days ago in Lexington KY, I had the pleasure of spending some time with George Takei! Live long and prosper! 🖖

What a weekend in Lexington! Lisa and I had a wonderful time at the Lexington Comic & Toy Convention. So many KISS fans came by to say hello, including some familiar faces and plenty of new ones! Part of the fun at these conventions is you never know what, or WHO, you’re going to see! From some amazing KISS fans and families, cool memorabilia and fan art, to wild cosplay and some very creative characters, Lexington had it all! I also enjoyed meeting some of the other guests, including Chris Kattan from SNL, and Bob West, the voice of Barney the Dinosaur from Barney and Friends. Thanks to the fans who came out to see us. There’s a NEW Banana in town! I call it “The Sweet Banana”. Thanks to Russ Gerner for the great paint assist, Bernie Hamburger for the set up, Jeff Richard of Carondelet Pickups, and Johnny DiFatta of AXN. It’s an Alder body, rosewood neck, and features a “1984” Floyd Rose and custom Carondelet Pickup.
