Sadly, #Microsoft is continuing its devaluation of certifications, unless it is AI related, and I’m saying this because of their announcement on the retirement of the Microsoft 365 Administration exam MS-102.
If you are a Microsoft 365 administrator, for many years you could obtain a Microsoft 365 Administration Expert certification, mainly by passing what is the most recent exam, MS-102, but Microsoft is retiring that certification on November 30th of 2026.
The good news is you still have two months to pass this exam, so if you have already begun prepping for it, you can continue to do so and let me help you decide what your next steps should be.
I have two blog posts on my Microtechpoint Brian’s Blog page that you should read to help you decide your next steps regarding the M365 Administration certification.
The first blog post Navigating the Shift: Microsoft MS-102 Is Retiring—Should You Switch to the New AB-650?, can be viewed by visiting:

After reading that blog post and if you’ve decided to pursue the MS-102 exam, I strongly suggest you read my other blog post, Microsoft 365 Administrator Certification, can be viewed by visiting:

Do you want to obtain more M365 knowledge? Advance your career? Increase your salary?
A popular way to do accomplish all these goals is to obtain the @Microsoft 365 Administration certification. If you want to increase your M365 knowledge, further your career, while also increasing your salary you need to visit Brian’s Blog at Microtechpoint and read my blog post; Microsoft 365 Administrator Certification.
