Some things are worth coming back for

Over the last several years, life and my perception of it have changed dramatically. I met an amazing woman who truly loves me for me, way beyond the fella with a microphone. Someone who’s just as goofy as I am. Someone who loves weird barefoot dance-offs in the living room, looking up at the night sky and wondering what lies beyond what we cannot see. Someone I can have rolling belly laughs with, cry with, and go through life’s tilt-a-whirl of emotions with. Someone who inspires me with her big, beautiful heart. Along the way, we got married. To me, some of the best things in life are the ones you plant and grow quietly in your sacred space, away from the noise. We value that deeply, and honestly, it soothes my soul. There are so many amazing things ahead, And after all this time, I’m so grateful I have such a beautiful soul to share it all with. :)

Playing the @BeaconTheatre in New York at Christmas makes me feel like I’m levitating…it’s such a spirit lifter! Thanks for an amazing sold out night last night! Now another sold out crowd for round 2 tonight!🕺

Beautiful Lonely is OUT NOW! I am so proud of this one. For years I’ve really wanted to dig into that classic nostalgic sound that was laced with touches of inspiration from my heroes from many decades past…the brilliant Jon Green helped me bring it to life with a modern twist and my forever devoted and long time writing partner and friend Heather Morgan helped in lassoing my scattered mind into words that truly evoke a deep feeling in my soul. I hope these move you as much as we truly loved to create them. As the leaves fall, put this on in your headphones and go for a walk…take a breath and a break from the world and spend a little time with me opening your heart, it would make my day:)
