Terrifying!
Gene Wu is what we call a boba lib - a high-status Asian progressive who is soft on crime, for open borders, and exploits racial grievances to dismantle America which he says is defined by white supremacy and racism.
Unsurprisingly, like all woke Asians, he has nothing to say at all about America's geopolitical rival.
Wu goes way further. He was involved with the Houston Chinese consulate which Trump shut down in 2020 due to subversive espionage activity. His father has been linked to a group of former Red Guards from Mao's Cultural Revolution era who spout pro-CCP propaganda.
He is a fifth columnist and he is now the leader of the Texas House of Representatives.
Hinojosa today: 'The people of Texas have spoken,' and leaders shouldn't 'get in the way.'
Winning an election is not a blank check. A Republican Senate doing its job is not obstruction. It's balance. Texas still needs adults in the room."

In 2024, a broad coalition of citizens came together to make America great again by removing the (at minimum) tens of millions of foreigners who aren't supposed to be here. Some say 100 million.
ICE can't physically do that so it requires encouraging them to leave. You do that by taking away their money -- simply debunking them. This would have been the easy button.
It didn't happen. Instead we had Kristi Noem cosplaying as a storm trooper helping to turn public sentiment against what should be simple law enforcement. This is a huge part of the reason Republicans lost so much in 2026.
Mass deportations was a fantasy and our country and our culture will continue down the path of destruction.
Wait, I thought the democrats assured us there were completely against all datacenters. You mean they lied?
The governor-elect of Texas, Gina Hinojosa, has explicitly said that all currently permitted datacenters in Texas will be allowed to finish construction. This essentially covers all of the 2027 and likely well into 2028.
She is going to pass laws that ensure that all *newly* permitted datacenters going forward for delivery in 2028/2029 will pay taxes, commit to no increase in power prices for consumers, don’t impact water availability for people, be constructed with union labor and give “Texans a seat at the table.”
Sounds reasonable. She doesn’t want to lose a lot of good blue collar jobs and property taxes for small towns in rural Texas.
Datacenter commentary starts at 6:30 in this interview.
Also attaching her official campaign position from her website in the next post.
Sidenote: After watching a bunch of her speeches and interviews, I do think she is a political talent and probably has a future in national politics.

Rs must show Hispanics that all Dems are radical extremists and they’re coming for the Church.
During my campaign, I travelled the state and met many Young Republicans. It is because of them, I am very optimistic about saving our state. If you are interested in doing that, I would encourage you to connect with these patriots immediately. You too can join the fight.
We've received dozens of applications over the last 48 hours. Young Texans are fired up and ready to begin the counteroffensive to take back our state.
We're proud to have the total backing of the @TexasGOP, and will be deepening our collaboration over the next year. Join us!
Is this true?
HOLY CR*P 🚨 Official Election Administration and Voting Comprehensive Report buried all the way on page 193 of the document shows Texas processed 2,900,357 new valid voter registrations between 2022-2024 without proof of citizenship
Documented proof of citizenship like birth certificate, passport and naturalization papers is not required at the time of voter registration in Texas
56.5% of Texas voter registration were classified as “new valid registrations.”
This is extremely suspicious that 55% of Texas voter registrations were “new”
Hours after the election, Houston leaders said they'd revisit how HPD works with ICE. The governor-elect has pledged to end ICE cooperation across state and local law enforcement. State law still requires detainer cooperation and still makes illegal entry a state crime. Changing that still goes through the Legislature. A secure border isn't optional because Austin changed hands.
The governor-elect wants $17 billion from the Rainy Day Fund for one-time $1,500 checks. Texas saved that money for hard times, not a campaign promise. The Senate is still Republican, so it goes through the Legislature first. Permanent property tax relief beats a one-time check.

Thank you for being a voice for our generation. Onward.
Tonight wasn’t the night our campaign had hoped for.
To everyone who stood alongside us, gave your time, and believed in what we set out to accomplish, thank you. I will never forget your dedication, your friendship, and, above all, your love for the great state of Texas.
As Thomas Jefferson once wrote, “I like the dreams of the future better than the history of the past.”
My dreams for Texas and America remain undiminished, as does my faith in the indomitable spirit of the people of the Lone Star State.
I’m not going anywhere — because we have work to do.
Onward.
Many people are asking these questions.
Every GOP strategist, consultant, and candidate should be forced to participate in a role-playing exercise this morning.
Your name is Bob. You’re a 49-year-old blue-collar worker in Ohio. You’ve always struggled to make ends meet. The good jobs were all shipped to China and the few remaining pay a pittance wage, undercut by endless illegal labor.
You’re a 3x Trump voter because you believed he would finally make America great again.
You put your son through Ohio State. He graduated cum laude in computer science. You couldn’t have been prouder. After months searching, he landed an entry-level job at Microsoft. Beneath his qualifications, but a good start for a smart kid.
Then he got laid off. That same month, Microsoft applied for 150,000 more H-1B visas because it can’t find qualified Americans.
Your son has spent six months back in his childhood bedroom, sending hundreds of applications without landing an interview.
On TV, Trump boasts about the greatest economy in history and how many women and minorities are finding jobs.
You decide a father-son steak night might cheer him up.
Gas is $4.50 a gallon. Filling your truck costs over $100. At Kroger, ribeyes are $30/lb. You settle for hamburger, even though 70/30 ground beef still costs $10+.
At checkout, a fat black woman is screaming at the cashier because her EBT will only cover most of the filet mignon and lobster in her cart.
You think to yourself how the Iran war has made everything expensive, but at least we’re stopping their nuclear bomb. You weren’t even sure where Iran was before you googled it after we first bombed them in March.
After dinner, you take your son to the county fair. Half the people aren’t speaking English. Virtually none of the crowd looks like you. You’re forced to leave early after a “teen takeover” turns violent. A foreign born judge pledges none of them will go to jail.
Back home, you turn on the TV. Vivek Ramaswamy is lecturing the crowd about American mediocrity and why Ohio needs more foreign talent.
Your son grows upset. You change the channel.
Now a Republican surrogate, the daughter of a governor or wife of an elderly billionaire, explains that young White men are the REAL welfare queens. They’d rather play videogames in their parents’ basements than work.
Your son says nothing. He just goes back to his childhood bedroom. You turn off the TV.
Then your neighbor starts blasting reggaeton and cracking open Modelos. He brought his cousin’s family from Mexico to help with all the minority-business contracts his construction firm keeps winning. Tonight they’re celebrating his nephew’s birth, the family’s first birthright American citizen.
You sit alone in your living room.
You worked hard, paid taxes, obeyed the law, and raised your son to do everything right. You voted Republican again and again because you believed somebody in Washington would finally fight for you.
Instead, your wages are stagnant. Groceries are unaffordable. Your community is unrecognizable. Your country is fighting another foreign war.
And upstairs, the son you sacrificed everything for is lying awake in the bedroom he slept in at twelve, wondering what the heck he’s even supposed to do with his life now.
Every time you turn on the TV, the Republicans you elected are either congratulating themselves or explaining why you and your son are the problem.
For ten years, they told you America’s future depended on your vote. Now you aren’t even sure America has a future worth defending.
The Republican Party needs to answer one simple question this morning:
You’ve spent a decade demanding Bob’s loyalty. You’ve given him stagnant wages, unaffordable groceries, another foreign war, and a son who did everything right but can’t find work.
And when they complain, you call them lazy, entitled, and racist.
What possible reason have you given Bob and his son to vote Republican? Do you honestly think you deserve their vote?
Good news/Bad news
First the bad news:
-The people who celebrated the murder of Charlie Kirk gained enormous political power last night.
-The Red/Green alliance will continue to grow in power.
-The DSA will continue to grow in power.
-The people who have come here illegally or through a flawed visa system will get away with even more fraud.
-The secure border is in jeopardy and my guess is waves of illegals start pouring into the country again.
-The people who hate our culture and people will double down.
-Law enforcement will be attacked like never before.
-The attack on Christianity will grow.
-The displacement of Americans in colleges and in the workforce will increase.
-The dishonest brokers in the media will ramp up calls of racism and hate for simply wanting to protect America.
-We are all much less safe.
There is some good news:
-In Texas, a Republican majority in the State Senate will be able to stop a lot of what the radical democrats will try.
-The Trump administration still runs the Executive branch for the next two years and should be able to stop some of the crazy in Congress.
-The smaller Republican coalition will have to have an honest conversation about how we move forward.
-Republicans will have to admit they carry some of blame, not just for the last two years, but for decades of not helping our people.
-The realization that 6 million Christians stayed home should wake up dead churches.
-Really bad people, even on our side were totally exposed.
-Democrats will be so radical that the voters will remember how bad they are.
-The pendulum will inevitably swing back in 2028.
-New leaders will emerge and lead the fight to save our state, our country and our culture.
Tonight wasn’t the night our campaign had hoped for.
