I just want to point out how badly this situation has been messed up. The @ncaa (completely incompetent), is pressuring congress (somehow more incompetent), to step in and save the day. That’s the equivalent of the titanic asking the avalanche to step in. Dumb is the new smart

Players going from a pre-season NFL game to college football is an embarrassment. You’re cheating the game and taking opportunities away from those that have earned them. The adults are the ones continuing to make the poor decisions which is why we are in this mess in the first place. If you’re a pro you’re a pro. Think long and hard and get the proper advice on your decision. But going back and forth like a light switch is just dumb for eveyeone involved.

These conversations around "it is not as much money as you think" is dumb. Yes, sure its not as much money as you think, $100M becomes $60M very quick, sure go it. You know what else isn't as much as you think? Compound interest. Take half of that $60M, $30M and put it into a conservative investment making 8% annually and do not touch it. $30M at 8% compounded in 25 years≈ $205.45 million. In 50 years that number is $1.407 BILLION DOLLARS. The crying over taxes is the dumbest argument ever, making money when you have money is the easiest thing on the entire planet, its just not sexy. Take half your net assets, whatever they are, and invest it, don't touch it, and you will reap the rewards forever. The ability to make that money before your 30th birthday is the magic potion. Take advantage of it

Why is this even an issue? Who cares. Identify voters, yes that’s obvious. I can go through the airport using my eyes. We have technology. Use it. I shouldn’t need a hard ID anymore, let alone proof of registration, let alone having to put stickers on my car they call tabs. It’s 2026. We just sent people around the moon and back and I’m putting stickers on my car to prove it’s registered.
