Argon, man... this model is goated.
if you are not pushing these tools to their limits you are leaving things on the table.

SF tech co.s, if this specific use case isn't in your consumer agent launch video you're doing it wrong. Before blorf.ai, I was drowning in bilge pump alerts and unmerged PRs. Now blorf handles my Port Hercule turnarounds autonomously so I can focus on what really matters: shipping.
Every yacht owner should have a dashboard like this.

A sure-fire way to create Skynet is to imbue the machine with a sense that it "doesn't need to take this" from humans anymore.

The moment we pretend we're building something more than software, we cross into the metaphysical - which is pure hubris and reckless. Just my 2c ofc.

Hats off to the @GoogleDeepMind team for this one. Argon quickly became my preferred development partner. It's a step change in performance that has transformed my productivity!
Lots of discussion out there about our next model(!), so I wanted to give an early look as soon as possible. Introducing Gemini 4 Argon! It shows frontier performance in complex workflows, cyber defense and software engineering. Teams are using it extensively at Google, from coding to quantum computing, great feedback. Here’s a look at the benchmarks:

Pepperidge Farm remembers.
Hey folks, remember when one company would release a product that competes with another company and we would send each other cakes? Can we please go back to that again instead of what we have now?

Great AI accelerates human creativity.
I agree with this. My vibes from 3.7 flash are that it is simply really nice to work with.

It's amazing when a model works all day and all night and solves a super hard problem for you. But then you want to do some iterative development and that model is overkill, bogs, and you lose your mojo. Delight replaced by frustration. It’s incredibly gratifying when a model can hang with you in fast-paced, iterative development. Gemini 3.7 Flash is the first model I’ve felt can legitimately do this. Low-latency is capability. Congrats to the @GoogleDeepMind team for this launch. Excited to see what's next!

3.7 Flash has been a super gratifying partner on my web frontend projects. It has a great combination of accuracy and performance that allow me to go from idea to prototype at warp speed. Using it has felt like sitting with a great frontend dev.
Today we're launching Gemini 3.7 Flash - our latest workhorse model for coding and agentic workflows, with an introductory price at half the original cost of 3.6 Flash. ⚡️ We have been iterating rapidly with the Flash series, going from 3.5 to 3.7 in just 3 months, making it more helpful across a wide range of tasks: • Software Engineering (DeepSWE v1.1): 37.0% ➔ 65.3% • Web Development (Code Arena Elo): 1506 ➔ 1588 • Enterprise Automation (AutomationBench): 13.4% ➔ 30.4%

The web is evergreen in the age of AI.
Prediction: Over the next few years a lot of things that could have been mobile apps, will be web apps instead. It's just so much easier to build and ship with AI.

I don't have much of an opinion on whether or not the Europeans install air conditioning in their homes, but I would like them to install better air conditioning in the cars they sell to Americans. Compare how long it takes to get ice cold air from the vents of a Bavarian luxury car vs. a Korean economy car... the difference is pretty sweltering.
I asked Claude about the air conditioning debate in Europe, and it really didn’t pull any punches.

A short backstory on this one: A small Google Labs team had an idea to make an app designed to connect you with what matters, without the endless scroll. "Hope scrolling, not doom scrolling" was the hallway pitch. "Go for it." And today, that little experiment is rolling out. Meet Dreambeans, a daily dose of inspiration, brewed fresh for you. We're excited to see what you think!
🚨 NEW EXPERIMENT 🚨 Dreambeans is a new, experimental mobile app that uses Personal Intelligence to connect to your Google apps. Every day, it delivers collections of personalized stories, surfacing things you might otherwise miss, alongside topics that are relevant to you, to help you dive deeper into the things you care about most. Available starting today for eligible US-based Google AI Ultra users (+18), with an open waitlist found on our website below! Learn more at labs.google/dreambeans

Waking up to fresh dreambeans daily for the past few weeks has been (bean?) such a delight. There's magic in centering your family in your feed - it keeps me coming back for more. Bonus: The app's aesthetic is high craft and high taste. Congrats team for this launch!
