W jaki sposób doszło do wycieku MyDyr? Impuls powstał w 2015 r. gdy z inicjatywy rządu premier Ewy Kopacz państwo świadomie stworzyło jednoznaczną podstawę prawną dla outsourcingu dokumentacji medycznej do zewnętrznych podmiotów, prywatnych dostawców IT. GIODO uważał dopuszczalność outsourcingu za prawnie wątpliwą (ale nie sprzeciwił się outsourcingowi, tylko chciał podstawę prawną). Ustawodawca dopuścił wtedy model i obudował go obowiązkami, ale nie ustanowił limitu koncentracji danych u jednego procesora. To była narastająca Kula Śniegowa. W efekcie tych decyzji prawnych tysiące niezależnych decyzji placówek mogły doprowadzić do sytuacji, w której jeden prywatny dostawca przetwarza dane medyczne obejmujące ogromną część społeczeństwa. Aż do katastrofy. Po wejściu RODO dostosowano zapis podstawy prawnej. RODO nie zabrania ograniczania koncentracji danych medycznych. Wprost na nie pozwala, ale przy wdrażaniu #RODO nikomu w Polsce nie przyszło to do głowy.

My reaction from just watching the solar eclipse is that it was a spiritual moment because it brought people with all different backgrounds and values together with nature and each other in a shared valued moment. The World Cup was like this except it didn't have the nature part. I hope for more of these shared moments because spirituality, if understood and felt, would bring about the best path forward.
To me, the greatest battle is between spirituality--feeling a part of and taking care of the shared common good of all humanity and nature--and fighting for and inflicting harm for oneself and those on your side. More than anything, whether spirituality wins this battle over selfishness will determine the well-being and perhaps the sustainability of mankind.

We’ve always supported and contributed heavily to open source and science from Jax to Transformers to AlphaFold to Gemma open models which have now been downloaded 300M+ times. And the standards framework we’ve proposed supports responsible deployment of both open and proprietary models.
For my first post, I’m sharing a letter @NVIDIA signed on why open models matter.
AI will transform every industry, power every company, and be built by every country.
Open models strengthen safety and cybersecurity, accelerate innovation and diffusion, and enable sovereignty.
The world needs both frontier closed models and frontier open models.
