ugh.

of course it is. you didn’t think i would sell richard, did you?

perhaps i will introduce a two-for-one deal if demand is low.

( baking rat cookies. )

( damian lifts his chin, mischief dancing in his eyes, and pats her once upon the head. ) oh, no. it is much too gory. besides... are you not a detective? i am certain you can put two and two together.

must i? i had assumed my expression spoke for itself.

no. ( he scolds. ) don't you know? tickling is against our code. in fact, it is on par with "no killing".

( stares into the camera. )

( he was going to play dirty and flip her, but those words in that sentence in that order literally make him glitch. ) don't tell me tickling is your signature move. why would you want to put your hands anywhere near bane's armpits?

( smiling. sweetly and innocently, like a baby angel. )

( believe it or not, he is also trying not to laugh. stupid girl. he missed her. ) you distracted me with all your gurgling like a sea monster. help me up.

( oh, come on... he's barely even choking her! a comment of "drama queen" is closely followed by a rather undignified squawk as his leg buckles. ) ...heh. not bad.

you dare to say such a thing... in front of my salad?

( ding ding ding! he's putting her silly grinning face in a headlock. ) say uncle.
