I want to wish all Arizonans a safe and joyful 2021. Happy New Year, and God bless! 3/3

But Arizonans are resilient. We demonstrated that again and again in 2020, and I’m confident we’ll rise to the occasion in 2021. We’ll stay focused and we’ll move forward — together. 2/

We’ve turned the page on 2020. After a year of unprecedented challenges, January 1 marks a new beginning. Many of the battles we fought last year are still with us — battles that tested us in ways we never would’ve imagined. 1/

Happy New Year! 🎉🎇

We’ll get through this, Arizona. And we’ll do it as we’ve always done — together.

Across the country, news of delays in distributing the #COVID19 vaccine are being reported. While Arizona has avoided many of these issues, any delay in shots being given to Arizonans is unacceptable. 1/

3… 2… 1… The Capitol Christmas tree is lit 🎄 Merry Christmas and happy holidays, Arizona!

The arrival of the vaccine marks a significant moment in the fight against COVID-19 — but we aren’t out of the woods yet. We need to remain vigilant and continue to follow all recommended health and safety precautions. 4/4

My sincere thanks to the trial participants, scientists, community health leaders, health care workers, frontline workers and the federal government’s Operation Warp Speed. Their commitment to getting this job done is a real inspiration, and I’m grateful for their partnership. 3/

This is what our nation does best. We solve problems and get things done. In Arizona, our plan is to get the vaccine to every corner of our state without delay, beginning with health care workers and vulnerable populations. 2/
