Finally a bit of sunshine, ready for further testing of our content delivery network. The brains are all looking good, now just need to make sure it doesn't have any impact on the listenership statistics!
More work on the content delivery network today. We have found that it provides much faster access to episode files and can handle a significantly larger number of listeners than our current system. What does this mean for you? More reliable statistics & improved download times
AutoPod gives you an RSS feed for each of your shows, meaning that you can make use of external platforms to share your content. The barrister Interview is a podcast hosted on AutoPod making use of our ability to give each episode custom images and meta data
Attempting to DDOS our own servers tonight for the new CDN to make sure it will be up to the task and handle listener traffic, won’t affect any of the current services as this is a new part that is not currently available, but always fun to see how far you can push systems!
