This week Prime Minister @AlboMP welcomed the King of Jordan, His Majesty King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein to Australia.
Prime Minister Albanese and King Abdullah released a Joint Statement on Enhanced Cooperation, reinforcing Australia and Jordan’s ongoing cooperation on:
•defence and regional security issues
•humanitarian assistance
•resources, energy, and environment initiatives.
Leaders announced that Australia and Malaysia will organise in 2027 a meeting of the Aqaba Process, an international forum to enhance regional and global coordination on counterterrorism and violent extremism.

The Australian Government is supporting students with the cost of living through the Commonwealth Prac Payment (CPP).
The CPP supports students financially as they undertake their mandatory placements.
It’s currently available to eligible students studying teaching, nursing, midwifery, and social work.
From 1 July 2027, the CPP will be expanded to include 10 additional priority frontline allied health disciplines 🏥
