State leaders like @GovPritzker are putting change into motion as they explore new paths to meet the needs of their communities – and they’re setting the blueprint for other good climate actors to follow.
Earlier this week, the @USDOT officially rolled back national fuel economy standards, undercutting years of progress.
Meanwhile states and cities remain laser focused on putting money back in people’s pockets and making clean transportation more accessible. 👇

At All In’s Local to Global Exchange, our friends at @USClimate and @ClimateMayors took the stage to announce their new official partnership! 🤝🎉
This partnership will strengthen the crucial tie between climate initiatives of cities and states – because, as @boisemayor put it, the kitchen table issues in the communities they serve are all tied to climate action.
In the @nytimes this week, All In Chair Gina McCarthy blasted the Department of Transportation rollbacks of fuel efficiency standards: “For fifty years, fuel-economy standards have saved Americans money and cut pollution at the same time, creating cleaner air, lowering prices at the pump, and reducing our reliance on fossil fuels.”
