I chatted with Adam Hansen today about his job with the CPA overseeing safety, particularly around the courses and conditions raced on and in. I thought about how “thank-less” it is for him and his team, fingers are pointed when things go wrong and they weren’t prevented or
and it had, I presume, been determined that it still wasn’t safe for the riders.
Everyone finished safely and no crashes that happened were due to the parcours, I thought post stage that Adam and his team likely don’t get much of a thank you for their efforts there,
