Eleven years ago today, a small personal project called Aerial Tallahassee started with a drone, a hashtag, and two people trying to learn to love a city they had just moved to. (continued in a 🧵...)

Some of our closest friendships started in those early Aerial days, with people who believed in Tallahassee and wanted to build something good here. That is the real return on this project. Not the photos. The people.

If you are building something of your own, here is what 11 years taught us. Start before you feel ready, pay attention to what people overlook, & surround yourself with people who want to make things better. Thank you for being part of this journey. Here's to another year 🎉
