Critical PHP Security Vulnerabilities – Security Updates Applied
On October 21, 2026, two critical security vulnerabilities were disclosed in the widely used PHP programming language. Under certain circumstances, these vulnerabilities could allow unauthorized access to web servers.
We responded immediately and implemented additional protective measures even before the official security updates were released.
In the meantime, we have applied the necessary security patches to all PHP versions offered by our hosting services. This explicitly includes older PHP versions that are no longer officially supported.
To protect our infrastructure and your data, we also temporarily disabled some of our own services as a precaution. Our customers' websites were not affected by these shutdowns.
Based on our current findings, there is no concrete evidence that these vulnerabilities have been successfully exploited on our systems. However, we cannot completely rule out the possibility of exploitation before the protective measures were implemented.
We therefore recommend that you check your websites and applications for any unusual or unauthorized changes as a precaution.
Our technical team continues to closely monitor all systems.
Thank you for your understanding and patience during these necessary security measures.

One domain, two destinations.
An A record points to the server for your website. An MX record routes incoming email to the right mail server. Both live in DNS, but they do different jobs.

Sustainable hosting starts with the power behind the servers, but the website matters too. Large files and unused scripts add work with every visit.

POP3 downloads messages. IMAP keeps mail synced across devices. If you check the same inbox on your phone and laptop, that difference matters.

A domain, web hosting, and a website are three different things.
The domain is your address. Hosting makes the site available online. The website is what visitors see.
Which part are you setting up right now?

An accessible website starts with details people notice when they’re missing: readable text, clear contrast, and a visible focus indicator when navigating by keyboard.

How to create a website when you have never built one: start with the three pages you actually need.
Home. What you do. How to reach you.

A CDN (Content Delivery Network) stores copies of your site on servers in multiple locations, then serves each visitor from the one nearest them. 🌐
That is the whole idea. Shorter distance, faster load.

Quick domain check:
1. Verify your domain renewal date. Don't let it expire by surprise.
2. Check that your SSL certificate is active
3. Review your DNS records after recent changes
A small domain issue can make your entire website unreachable.

Your HTTPS check in 4 steps:
1. Certificate not expiring in the next 30 days
2. Every page loads over HTTPS, not HTTP
3. HTTP redirects to HTTPS with a 301
4. No mixed-content warnings in the browser console
Number 3 is the one most people miss. 🔒

🌐What is a Server?
A server is the engine behind your website: it stores your website’s data and delivers it to visitors whenever they access your site. Without a server, your website wouldn’t be available online.
In this quick video, we explain what a server is and how it works for web hosting.

1/ Setting up a WordPress site, in the order that actually matters:
1. Site structure before design
2. Theme second, not first
3. Plugins only when you need one
4. SSL before you launch
5. Backups before you forget
Most people do this backwards. Here’s the full guide for reference as we break it down: all-inkl.com/en/web-guide/we… 🧵

5/ Enable SSL before launch, not after, because retrofitting HTTPS means chasing mixed-content warnings.
